So my S2 is now shutting down constantly... Every time I have to remove the jumper pin from the PSU cable and put in back in order to power it back up, but it will only stay alive for maybe 30 minutes before it does it again. The first time this happened I actually had to re-flash the SD card to get it up and running. I even tried removing one of the hashing cards to lessen the load on the power supply, but that doesn't seem to have made a difference.
Is this a known issue? Is the power supply just toast? (Is it even worth it to replace at this difficulty?)

I had 3 S3+ running off an EVGA 1300W PSU and would say the S2 was slightly noisier.

Got an Enermax Platimax 1500W PSU here. If anyone's used one in an S2, could you tell me if it makes a difference energy/noise/heat wise?

Tim Shao was very helpful at first when I contacted Bitmain about my S2 problems, I received a replacement controller board from Bitmain - but it turns out that the problem is with the base plate that the hashing boards slot into, and Bitmain tell me that they don't have any - despite having hundreds of them at their mining farm. I even offered to buy one from them, but Tim has failed to respond to my request since 5 days ago - so I'm stuck with a S2 that I can't mine with and can't sell either
So, if anyone here has a S2 base plate spare, I'd be interested to hear from them - I'm in the EU with BTC waiting.....

I'm not advertising for HashNest or suggesting you buy from them.. but perhaps you don't realize that you can sell your GHS at any time and recoup the vast majority of your BTC. Same as any exchange that sells hashing power (ie CEX.io).
Same as with Ghash.io make sure you not buying first at the beginning as price is always to high. once this settle you can buy cheaper about 50%
