One might ask how many devices does he want to connect to the internet.  All via ethernet cable might be easiest.  If he has 4 high speed switch ports and a single uplink port on the comcast and if he has 4 or fewer devices to connect then just use the comcast router.

If he has more devices than high speed switch ports then add the netgear router.

heres the pics i tried to drop frm gmail unsuccessfully earlier... maybe thatll help you gentlemen out....

now of course ive obviously changed up that one ethernet connection in between the comcast and netgear to the regular lan from that designated internet port....
wait, hold on, the comcast and netgear are side by side?

i figured they was across the room..
doesnt the comcast router have 4 ports?

lets just hit the basics.. lets try to get the s3s working individually.

unplug everything..
plug one s3 into the COMCAST router..

set it to IP 192.168.1.200 < this makes it easy.
set the DNS to 192.168.1.1
set the gateway to 192.168.1.1

and see what happens.

Common default settings in the router are to limit the IP range to 50. So this will often fall out of the .127 range, look for a check box in the router gui that needs to be unchecked and applied. To be honest though, connecting two routers is a bit trying but you can usually go to Netgear website and search the tech support for Cascading Routers. Its possible that the Comcast router is blocking outside connections from devices that have not sent the password to it.

i would think that too but then he said he connected to the netgear with his laptop and it sees the internet..

i almost have the same setup he does on the routers, except i opted for the wireless bridge option.
im going to check his router and see if it has that option, that would make things a ton easier.

netgear n750

i hate netgear its ui is so complicated. im looking up the manual now.
im sure we are missing an option, somewhere.

and again i wonder about this screenl.... the one antminer i had hashing for the longest here read at that point 40 someodd percent of free space availbile whereas now this screen shows 90???

http://postimg.org/image/k3syetz6h/c217948d/

im not worried about that yet, because that wouldnt keep the s3 from doing a ping test.

fuck man.... thank you
