Colorado can do factory level repair, however, it is fee based. Can you send email to [email protected] with photos of front and back of the PCB that need repair? Do you see any visual burn or smell of something melted?
Repair cost and possibility of repair is unknown until fully diagnosed. If half the PCB is burnt, we probably can not fix that but may have to offer you the replacement!!

Glad to see you posting again. Can you handle returns on defective S7 hash boards in Colorado, or do they need to be sent to China? (1X defective B8, 2X defective B1)
I've personally sent parts to Colorado for repair. They do a great job and are awesome to work with.

how are you guys obtaining these extra blades? can you buy an io board from s5+ and just spare blades? cause they arent listed in bitmains page.
i have confirmed an unpowered and unplugged hashing board does not appear in miner status page, no --- just not existant so logic would dictate adding a board is the matter of just plugging it in.. or there would be a decent chance of this working.
what about cooling?
It wont let me update the firmware cause it wont let me access the gui after a few minutes (maybe 2 minutes)
have you tried unplugging the boards power and data cable so just the io board and bb are plugged in to network and power? they are all that need the update really.

In the interest of safety, I was thinking about changing the point at which the S7 stops from 80 Celsius down to something like 70 Celsius. Has anyone come across where that value of 80 is stored?
I found some stuff in /config that was close, but not it. I really don't want to do a grep of 80 on the entire filesystem or anything else like that

The miner sometimes try to powerup, it shows the green and orange led, and the red led behind the lan port, but then it stop flashing the lights, and sometimes just stop, doesnt do anything else. Sometimes it doesnt power up at all, or just powerup and stop flashing the lights

Tupsu I know you did a lot with running multiple blades with one controller and if I remember correctly you mentioned the October firmware is the most recent you can run more than three with. Is that correct?
Yes. They working with 6 blades until 22 April.
Now, only 15 september firmware works with 6 blades.
I have left only 5 x 6 blades Antminer S7
The other is all with own controller and aprilll 2016 firmware.
