There are many things that would make me to leave gambling forever. To reduce my mental stress and depression and also to spend according to what is plan for. Gambling has eaten deep and making gamblers not to focus on their main or major projects but busy diverting fu.ds to the casino games and sports betting.
So leaving gambling will make to focus in life.

The gambler mostly loss their winning money or holdings because of greedy in the gambling site.The gambler may achieve certain dollars by multiplying using their gambling strategies.At this time,he need to withdraw the funds,but this time the gambler mostly get the over confidence towards the game.So this over confidence will set the targeted money profit in the gambling site.Later the gambler start to play the game with more confidence which also increases betting amount in the gambling site.This also made the gambler to loss everything in the gambling sites.So the gambler now start to play the revenge game against the gambling site,because of their old loss.

You know your fears and you are just trying to be productive with the money and not lose it back to the source where the money came from because it's very likely that it will happen 100% especially if yiu are addicted to gambling. But what I don't quite understand yet is about the wager which you use to win the money, you can use $50k to bet and win 2x you know and I don't think such amount will be something you should fear if indeed you can risk such amount.

However, if we are taking about small amount of money like $100 to $1k and you win such a big amount of money worth $100k, I will called that a luck and we know what luck is about, the fact that it happen to you doesn't mean is ever going to be repeated again and there are plenty of possibilities that you can lose that money, so its better you set up and another business with that money, even if you need fund to continue gambling, make sure your bankroll should never change, atmost $1k or even less.

The fact is that no gambler will use his two clear eyes to gamble away $20000 at once, but he will do it gradually, especially if he thinks that he can double his money with gambling. He can start with $500 and when he losses it, he will want to chase his losses, and gradually gamble will start collecting the money little by little. If he doesn't quit and understands that it is impossible for him to recover his losses. He will end up losing it all to gamble and when the money is finished, he will be back to his senses. Such person can stop gambling for the rest of his life, only if he regrets his action and feel remorse towards it. Knowing the right time to stop is one of the major problems that gamblers have, but when you gamble for fun that wouldn't be a problem to you.

It is possible that a gambler loses a whooping $20,000 and still continue gambling. I've heard of stories of people who have won several hundreds of thousands of dollars gambling and will be willing to stake more, having in mind that they could win more and more money.

The thing is, gambling is full of luck especially when professionals gamble among themselves. They tend to place more stakes and expect big wins. But in all of this, the most scaring part of it is to lose your fortunes in the name of gambling. This is the reason why it will be difficult to try to manage risks because big wins require big risks.

People who put huge amount of money in gambles are always those who win big. No newbie will try to do so. But the truth remains that gambling is naturally a game of luck and fun. The moment you see it from a different lense, the more risky it becomes for you.

budget control in gambling is the basis without it you can not even start to get carried away with gambling this is the number one mistake if you do not control your finances.It is also good to analyze your games/bets at least once a quarter and see how much profit and how much loss and then decide whether to continue or stop playing. This will definitely protect you from uncontrolled games and wasting your budget.

I do not understand why a gambler will lose all that 20,000$ in gambling, If someone has that amount why doesn't he put only some money aside for gambling and then too gamble with 1% or less in each game? It's strange that gamblers gamble without any plan and without having any money management skills and then when they lose, they will blame gambling or try to quit it. It's like starting wrongly and quitting wrongly too.
If anyone manages risk in his games / bets , there can be no good reason to quit gambling.

If a gambler have $20,000 and he lost all of them in gambling he can stop gamble only if he's thinking straight. If he understands that gamble can not give him the kind of money he wants and he has lost the little money he has , he can choose to stop gambling for that reason. However, those that gamble for fun can stop gambling anytime because they only do it for fun, and when they observe that gamble can no longer give them the peace of mind they want, they can also chose to stop without losing much.

If you do get addicted on gambling then its totally your fault and not into those casinos or simply with gambling at all. You are the ones who held responsible into the actions that you are making because on the moment that you wont really be having that good control when it comes into your money and emotions then it will really be leading out into disaster if you wont really be that careful.

Just like on what everyone is saying on here that there's no reason for you to quit at all if you do find yourself having that good control towards yourself and with the money you are spending.
Gamblers do usually mess up their lives because they are really that becoming too confident on the things that they are dealing with and believing that they could make easy money with it.
On the time that they will really be losing then this is where they would really be trying out to chase up those loses until they do wreck up their lives.

I personally speaking would be able to stop gambling no problem! Of course its
easy for me to say this because I'm not a serious gambler or addicted in any way
so therefore I wouldnt be in a position to win $100k.

With that said I could argue that possibly the majority of people who are in a position
to win such an amount are possibly serious gamblers, are used to being
i n that position and its normal which could also mean they wouldnt quit after
winning but would try to go again!

There isn't any reason to quit gambling forever at all... The problem isn't gambling itself anyway, not having self control is the problem. We make bets every day. Some of us just don't notice it. Every morning you wake up from your bed, you make a bet to end the day alive and well. You go from one place to some other place and you are making a bet on arriving the final destination successfully. Yes you are not really wagering money like you do on a casino but you still get a reward in the end. Successfully accomplishing your task is the reward here. Starting a business is a gamble too. Gambling is anywhere. Gambling is life.

I was initially thinking that it would be impossible for me to stop gambling but after much thought about it, I have come to know that I can actually stop gambling for certain reasons or if certain things happen in my life. The primary reason I'm gambling is to make money contrary to those who gamble for fun. Although I can derive some fun while gambling but my main driving force is the money. If I have money in excess such that money will no longer be a factor in whatever I'm doing, I might consider gambling a waste of time ad energy. Until I get to that point, gambling is till one option I want to use and change my life forever.

Totally precise on what you have said that gambling was create just for the sake of fun and it will really be that a suicide thing if you would really be trying out to make it as your main source of income because instead on making money then you will be able to find yourself being wrecked with it and if you wont really be that careful then you will really be ending up on sleeping on the streets. Just like on what we do all know that there's no fun on losing and this what makes people do become impulsive on the moment that they will really be able to experience such condition. There would be those people who do really ends up on being delusional and become that having that wishful thinking that they could really be able to make money in constant manner until that reality would slap into their faces and made them realize that gambling shoudnt really be treated up this way. People do really make out some realization on the moment that they are experiencing shit conditions on which they should have that able to avoid it if they would really be just that simply making use of their own common sense and proper thinking. Yes, the point is that someone will always be prohibited from engaging in an activity when he does not know and understand in its entirety what and how the activity actually is, such as gambling, many people will advise you to stop permanently when you see gambling only from the side of the chance of winning.

One good reason why anyone should quit gambling is because it comes with addictiveness and dependency overtime. Gambling isnt really that actually bad not until on the time or moment that you have found yourself been that spending up too much money into it on which you could really be able to tell that there's something wrong with you on which once that addiction shackles you out then it would really be that hard to get out. Yes, take some rest and that will make the games more exciting to play. I know there are gamblers who keep playing almost 24/7 because they are not really enjoying the games anymore but most likely just trying to chase their losses which is a sign of gambling addiction. If we do that, we are just piling up more losses and very soon we might deplete all our funds and we won't enjoy it anymore. We cannot tell ourselves that we love playing it which is why we keep on coming back.

It is true that if you manage your money from the start, even if you win big, it will not increase your gambling budget, but most people find it difficult to do this. Good point, there's always a big risk behind that gambler needs to understand you might win decently but after that you should be very careful as the apetite might increase and the lust inside you might lead you to bet larger than the usual, from that point you may lose more  compared to what you manage to earned.

For entertainment side, winning is just an add ons, but with potential source of income, that's too hard to handle even some might manage to do it, but not everyone have that same fate and same luck.
