But it's not that simple. The process of "ASICs" is so much more complicated then giving a date. You have to fluff it up and point fingers at the fab and other vendors etc.

Let me guess he is having the Management of BFL roof read it and make sure that all the lies and excuses are well strung together as to maximize stringing along BFL customers and allow for more customer preorders to take place until the next update (in 30 days).

If only Tom had done this, bASIC might not be so bad off as they ended up being now.

Next time on "BFL: Undercover"

Narrator: "Josh is caught with his pants between his ankles. There was a video released of him berating a potential customer about his "box with fans".

Narrator: Now he has to write up a letter addressed to his customers about his company and its future in Bitcoin. .

Narrator: Tom has gone missing and some suspect he is AWOL or in Mexico.

Narrator: Now Inaba must find the right words to describe his healthy future with BFL. Will fate deal him a deadly blow or will he find the words that suit the bad news? Stay tuned as we find out.

Actually those are BFL's cheerleaders, not their customers. BFL have enough customer money now to maintain an impressive team of cheerleaders. They jump after every delay announcement trying to get public into the right mood with not much success recently.

I'm looking forward to the lengthy update that Josh is working on this afternoon that will be lots of waffle, wiggle, and excuses. When you tear back all of the fluff and side stepping you will find that there is no real information in the update.

All of the hard questions really have simple answers yet Josh is going to answer the more unimportant questions with much more detail than needed to make it look like he is actually is providing useful information. Cheesy

One post by Josh on BFL forums makes it sound like they are not going to raise their hashrate now that bASIC is toast.
