i see matching addresses, minus the city name (leawood and overland park border each other there, so that doesn't shock me much.) what else did i miss?
1200SF warehouse; 4800SF Office. As of Nov. 14th, space was still available, but we were shown equipment moving in prior to that date. Possibly, the earliest starting least date was Dec. 1st. No sprinkler system. Least rate.
My smallest warehouse is 1200SF. It's nothing. BTW, the "No" in the image above reflects if the space is equipped with sprinklers.

As far as the will-build-to-suit is concern, yes some the office area could have been demoed, thus enlarging the warehouse/assembly area, but that would have taken time. Remember, it was a couple months ago we were shown the eBay oven being unloaded at their new warehouse, a different facility than this one which, according to Jody, they started moving into yesterday.
As far as has been discussed, and as far as I know, the first run of ASICs out of BFL will not involve use of the oven or pick and place machine. If this is the case, all that'll be needed in the next month or so for product assembly is a pretty simple final-assembly area.
At what point does integration of the PCB's happen in-house?
BFL's talked about the various machines not being used nor ready for Batch 1.
Then Jody says there won't be any Batches. A.K.A "Built on demand."
So at which point do they start doing most of the work they are currently outsourcing?
I'm personally relieved that the first run of these PCBs won't be done in-house. It'd be just one more thing to worry about in the whole process.

Assuming what you state is true, done correctly there would be no way to know for sure how many of the ASIC mining rigs hashing coins is done by those who purchased units or by those paid in kind if the x + y is strictly followed (x = actual buyers). But as soon as the equation becomes x + yz, the cat is out of the bag.
Assuming the anonymous VC or any private orders exist...

I'm not sure why you keep bringing this up. What are you implying? They took delivery at their old building, then had to move it to the new one. Is there some sinister undertone to that that I'm missing?

So I don't see the problem, they had the big stuff delivered to the new place before they moved their office stuff over there.

I do want to state that I didn't purposely omit the Off-market aspect if it was on the page I viewed showing the 11/14 date. I did see such a notice on another site, thus verifying that somebody has leased it, safely assuming now it was by BFL.
I have implied that this is the third iteration of a warehouse/assembly location, with Christ Vleisides photo studio being the first (though not confirmed) and the second being the place having all the parts in storage readied for assembly, coupled with the eBay oven aspect.
Perhaps this is the only other warehouse, and the 11/14 still available date tossed me (now us) a loop.
Switching gears here, that 10770 El Monte building is neat with all the green tech built in and all. Plus the location near the interstate is a plus. It would be awesome if somehow a large Bitcoin logo/flag can be put up for all the passerbys to see.

You are wrong. Nowhere is mentioned "1200 sq. ft".
Yeah I dont get how that works either. Says 6000SF is avail, largest space is 6000SF, smallest space is 4800SF and office space is 4800SF (so I'm assuming this only has 2 spaces). Is he only renting some of the space? Does that happen in shit like this?
The 1200 SF warehouse space is implied. There is 6000 SF available, 4800 SF of which is considered office space. I simply subtracted the small number from the bigger number to arrive at the warehouse size. This is standard wording in such a classified ad.

1200 sq ft isn't that small,I worked in mini/vertical blind factory's in miami,fl & they were in about the same size space.
Organized properly,you'd be surprised what can be done in 1200 sq ft
BTW,that building was constructed in 1971,it may be grandfathered in without having to install the sprinkler system.
