Airdrops are essentially marketing promotional tools, so you can not expect big profits from something that is given to you. But they cost little effort, and sometimes you can have big and pleasant surprises.

For me this is not really profitable, this is just a best way to start crypto so you will not be bored since the work is easy. It is still best to join bounties if you really want to earn some coins. However, there is still some good airdrop and based on experience this is about 5% only. I was able to get a good airdrop where I earn some ETH so it is luck for me.

I have also found this to be true. A very small percentage, like 5%, of all the airdrops I have participated in have been worthwhile. So I'm not sure that really justifies the time to bother finding the airdrops and filling out forms (and all the other silly requirements like joining telegram, following twitter, facebook, etc) in order for such a small chance of profit.

Airdrops are profitable in the long run, not in the short term. The value of most airdrop is between $1 to $20 which is little but if you leave it in the long run, they could worth tangible amount of money. Though there are some airdrop that worth good money.

There are so many airdrop now and you can make profit from them if you choose a good project to join. I am joining in DeepOnion airdrop and it seems like a good project

Hi everyone. I've tried participating in a couple of airdrops but haven't gotten any coins yet. For those of you who have, how do you go about making anything out of airdrops? Is it worthwhile or just the usual pump and dump?

Airdrops are amazing and some really can give a lot of income. Profitable is out of the question since these are free and you do not need any money to pay, so either way you could not lose even if the coins are dumped. Just be careful with the current airdrops that asks for donation though.

It basically depends on the success of the project, the tokens of which you received, if it is a scam that does not rise in price, then it is not profitable

I've been studying for a while, but the conclusions are disappointing -- the time spent can be spent more usefully. It is better to do the bounty.

Perhaps your wallet address written would be wrong. Otherwise, the campaigns you joined in were scam:(
I agree with your opinion!
If the address is correct then you have been deceived. This can happen to anyone.
Please be careful later!

Sometimes you can get good airdrops. In this case, without luck it will be difficult to get by. The Bounty campaigns look more attractive.

For me, the airdrops were not the best. I took part in more than 300 airdrops , but got it for only around$ 60 . The rest of the coins either worth nothing on the market that are either not credited to my MEW . Maybe I was doing something wrong, but it is so.

Yes sometimes its profitable but mostly not so dont waste your time in airdrop pay attention to the crypto that give you a lot of profit. Also its better if you waste your time in which you can earn like participating in a campaign or do trading that give more profit or invest half of your coin to grow it more. Or but more coin like ethereum because i found this coin profitable and really worth it too.

Many people are over inspired with DCR and other successful Altcoin airdrops. Yes it gives free money, but keep in your mind that not all ICO will become successful. And not all Aidrops can give you a massive profit. You need multiple accounts and wallets in order to get a fair earnings from airdrop.

Airdrops for the most part are not profitable, a lot don't deliver.  The ones that do are profitable though, because you didn't have to invest anything but a few minutes of time to sign up for it.  Even if it ends up being dumped on an exchange, it can make a few quick bucks.  I'd avoid any Airdrops that require too much information or effort though.

Airdrops are okay i think around 5-10$ per each airdrop, if there is only submit erc20 and join telegram group then why not.
And how much time do you spend on searching for and tracking airdrop? As a rule, it is most advantageous to be one of the first participants.

The majority of them are useless and only limited hype ones are become demanded ones after they hit the exchanges. I don't get engaged with airdrops and they aren't worth the time you spend for them.
Similarly, I think that the airdrop is just a waste of time. It is better to spend this time on participating in the bounty campaign and get a good reward.
I also agree with you, but when I start to seriously engage in them, from time to time, I come to airdrops for $ 100-200. I spend a lot of time on them, but sometimes it pays for itself.
The bottom line is this: if you have a lot of free time and little money, you can waste your time picking up airdrops.
