Well, the thing is that if you had asked this question 3 years ago some people would have said: We only need BTC and not even Monero and ETH. The fact that you listed 3 coins already speaks for Altcoins as such Wink

Of course there are lots of copy-paste-coins where the founders just want to get rich quick. But once in a while a new team of developers has good idea that they implement in their own Altcoin. Altcoins are a necessary experimenting area for crypto and also a driver for innovation.

Many altcoins are good and look attractive to replace cash, PundiX is altcoins which I think is good because it is easy to use for transaction and has sophisticated security features, unfortunately the market is still red so many people don't care about altcoins.

I do not think that altcoins are useless, there are many projects which will improve whole ecosystem with their mission, but they are in minority. I think that we have space for at least one hundred projects which will survive and be better than ever before, but be careful with investing in them, it is not shotgun time yet, because we are still in bearmarket.

Too many mistakes made in the past led to the development of so many altcoins in circulation that are basically useless. Many alts will die and only those whose projects are dependent on their coins will survive.

Most of the alt coins are useless, some were developed with know future and now nobody uses it. Investors who went in for it now don't know how to reclaim their invested funds. Some of the coins are really alarming.

They are not useless, the market is full of amazing altcoins that are going to change a lot of industries like payments, gaming, gambling, shipping, finance and much more. The era of altcoins will come as soon as BTC market dominance will not be so high.

Not all of the alt-coins are useless maybe there are plenty of useless alt-coin ,
But there are still some useful ones you just have to do your own research about them and their platform and how to use them.
Every alt-coin have their own platform and usage .

Altcoin is very useful but not all Altcoin are useful, because every Altcoin is not always good and not can provide benefits so we are careful in choosing it.
if Altcoin has great potential and of course the quality of Altcoin has a big chance, what else is the low price of Altcoin that we can get easily.

I agree most projects run out of money and then turns down silent. Though the project is promising enough, with no money or support, it will die. And then here comes investors saying they are a crap scam.

Not all altcoins are useless they are made for specific usage and let's not forget, mostly to used to raise funds.

Altcoins are not as much as we see in coinmarketcap, and that is why more than half of them are useless. If you investigate the Wave platform, you can see there are thousands of useless shitcoins. Also, thousands of them on the ETH platform.

to find out whether Altcoin is useful or not, you can find every Altcoin and you know in detail so you understand.
indeed not all Altcoin are useful but not all will be in vain, if Altcoin is good and has the potential to have big benefits.
so if you want to choose Altcoin, you know first so you can be sure you have it.

That is righr altcoins is very useful because possible for you to earn more money once the altcoins increase the value, but here's the thing you need to choose wisely what coin is the best to invest or to buy. Only the potential altcoin can do that. Altcoins is not useless because you can use it as payment from diffrrent store to buying products and for more uses if you have altcoins in your wallet.
