Decentralized Ascending Auctions on Blockchain

The decline of confidence in the ICO made the project seem dead, but the projects are not dead. I am personally very concerned with what has happened during the years 2018 to date still many ICO projects have failed.

Many ICO projects are used to commit fraud, so many investors lose money. And scams like this that make investors no longer invest in ICOS.

It is difficult to restore ICO reputation as before 2017. But the current IEO appears and I think it's a good solution to replace the ICO. Many benefits can provide convenience for investors. So you can consider this to re-invest.

So many ico projects have come into the scene and gone, some where successful whiles at the same time most of them were unsuccessful due to a lot of reasons. Though there is an ongoing choice of many prefering IEO over ICO but I can boldly say Ico's are not dead but just needs regulation in other to function fully as it used to be and without the regulation it is going to be difficult for ico to compete with ieo.

There are a lot of scam projects associated with ico projects but does that means all ico projects are scam projects? no, most ico projects are really legit and not scam projects as many thinks, some of these ico projects are dormant, some needs funds to operate and move on with their mission and vision and the fact that they are dormant does not mean they are dead.

I really find it difficult to commence on this topic, because many ICO (Initial Coin Offering) has been disappointed many crypto investors, that invested during ICO, could not succeed and which normally see it as dead ICOs, Therefore investing in ICO is very good with a high risk and more profitable if the ICO went  successful.

Its hard to speak on this topic. From early 2018 the ICP market started to fall. And in few months its fully damaged. There ware many reasons behind them like a lots of scam , failed projects ct and many. And in early 2019 the ieo came to the market its a new form of ICO in my opinion. And now its kind of ruling the crypto market.

Who knows? Maybe when the market gets bullish again IEOs will be a lot more popular than ICOs, and there's not anything wrong with it. At least it adds a layer of security and less scams will happen.

Also, a lot of people complained about six hundred ICO teams getting their IDs for verification. It kind of solves that problem too.

Of course now it seems that ICO`s are dead, especially comparing with last years when crypto was on the top. But still many projects appear, investors are involved in ICO`s.

ICOs are still alive, but only units are successful. Mostly, these are serious projects that are difficult to get into due to strict conditions and restrictions.
Yes, there are enough companies, no matter what, many even raise funds ahead of schedule, unfortunately, there are not many such projects, I think it depends on the state of the market

LoL, that's the most vague statement I read today! So you think there are projects out there which are making it difficult for investors to make investment because they think they are superior than other ICOs. Oh god, don't write anything for the sake of money. Be reasonable at least!

Yeah, right now ICO is really dead because there is no trust from the market and also people to be able to invest their money in the Funding. due to too many frauds, investor trust is no longer so great and in my opinion there must be a change in the system, but it seems that it will also be difficult to rebuild trust

Nope, ICO is not dead. Actually, in the section of alternative cryptocurrency (bounties) there are many new project. Yes, some of the ICO's are dead but not all of them like that. Choose wisely on every ICO's you want to participate so you will not regret.

We are talking about the ICOs and not about bounties. And the number has come down by as much as 90%. Earlier, we used to have hundreds of new ICOs every month. This number has now come down to a few dozen. And even with this reduced numbers, the success rate has not improved. The vast majority of them fails to achieve the soft-cap, due to the depressed condition of the market.

According to 60% of the ICO, it will make a profit, there’s a moment in the study of projects, reliable partners of ICO, and time, untwisted, it’s just not realistic to get into some projects ... So it’s alive, but it’s very difficult to enter standing projects .
It is true that there are many scammers at ICO. This does not classify all ICO organizers as a group of scammers. There are still some honest people out there. In fact, I have yet to see a business that is 100% risk free. All have risks, albeit with varying degrees of risk. ICOs are no exception.
On the other hand, ICOs provide these great benefits to their investors as it does not have a central authority due to decentralization. Therefore, no one can determine the fate of investors manually.

As long as cryptocurrency lives ICOs are not and won't die. When appropriate institutions look into ICOs it will be revived its a means of fund raising for projects and will always be.
but most of icos are dead or at least not reach softcap its pretty sad to see that and also most of project owner prefer using ieo than ico nowdays and investors also move to ieo too we can say icos almost dead

Most of the ICOs are dead because most coins right now are scammers. I really not believe on this ICOs right now because IEOs will replace them in the future.

Don't Get Involved
September 27, 2019, 07:43:26 AM
Although currently there are many project developers who choose to do ieo, but that is not a reason to say if ico will die, because I think not all project developers who like to sell using the ieo system because the amount of big funds that must be spent by the developer to sell ieo in exchanger market, so with so many projects that until now use ico and I think there are still many of the successful ico projects today, but of course investors should be more careful in choosing a project for them to invest so that they are not trapped in the ico or ieo scam.
Agree that ICOs are still appearing in some projects at this time when not all projects are able to develop and are eligible to follow the IEO trend because the level of competition in this trend is so high, exchanges can only select the best and most suitable projects for their users and investors. The development of IEO only means a new trend and gives investors a new way to make profits, and helps developers to accelerate the development of the project, so the ICO will still exist when it still has a little value, want to eliminate will need a new replacement that is more suitable for everyone.

I agree with you, everything you say is true.
It is true that the IEO trend is popular right now, but with so many projects doing IEO. That means ICO is not dead right now, it's just that projects that do ICO will be more difficult to sell than IEO.
