I think the ICO will continue and it's not deleted or disappears although right now, we saw the IEO in many exchanges and wants to compete with ICO. But yes, the ICO has decreased the popularity, and it's not like what they can get in the last year because many people do not believe the ICO project anymore. People need something new, and I think they find that IEO can answer their hope to make money.

I have been watching the market for a bit now and looking back, i have seen a lot of ICO dies the reason is bitcoin will go up but some altcoin will not follow and making the matters worst, many of them will go down in price. i think the market is shaking off those weak ICO token or the so called shitcoin.

Of the positive fact is that bounties started to function again, that means that ico will start to come out very shortly.

I won't be wrong for saying a capital YES. When something starts functioning, what happens? It phase out or dies right. Since that is true, when was the last time we heard of projects running an ICO, that is to say gradually ICOs will become irrelevant while scams will be minimized.

Perhaps some ICO will remain. But they will need to earn their trust. Investors simply do not want to invest in the ICO. They still have the right to exist. But they face many difficulties.

They will but when no one is investing with them, they will just give up.
It's impossible that they will last when the IEO now are the new popular way of investing in crowdfunding, things are safer here, so people will choose IEO.

I have been playing into some few ICO projects lately, and the reality is that I lost a lot of money due to the domination of the bear market and uncertainty of the projects going forward.

As the old saying goes, more than 90% of those projects are either scams, failed to reach soft cap, or not getting any traction in the next few months or so.

Maybe it’s because ICOs are not regulated and investors like me holds all of the risks.

Until now, there are still new ICOs emerging. However, there are also new ones such as STOs (security token offerings), IEOs (initial exchange offerings), and so on. It seems that both STOs and IEOs are already being considered the next big thing in raising crypto funds for starters.

With their ongoing emergence, are ICOs gonna be over soon? Are they gonna saturate and may phase out due to projects turning to STOs and IEOs?

I wanna know about your thoughts regarding this one, and I would greatly appreciate it whether if you agree or not with my opinion. Thank you in advance.
I do not think that ICO has already become obsolete as a form of fundraising for the release of new tokens. This is a very simple and reliable form of fundraising, it just needs to eliminate a significant amount of fraud. This will be possible when the state begins to regulate ICO as a type of financial activity. Other forms of fundraising are also not ideal and also do not guarantee the absence of fraud.

I don't think they are gonna phase out very soon. I can still see some really good ICOs and as long as these ICOs exist, the spawning of new ICOs shall keep coming. Saying that ICOs will phase out very soon, IEOs can take over. But I don't know if it is going to be a big problem for cryptocurrencies if these ICOs don't exist anymore.

The one benefited on IEO is the exchange. Imagine the help it will fo if they only require their coin for purchasing new projects. So people will buy many coins that will be used for IEO. Take noticed of Binance, eversince IEO started to rise, their coin is just going up since they always release new project for their IEO and people always buy BNB. See how smart the IEO exchanges, profits and famous is what they gained.
In general, if you buy BNB you will have the opportunity to participate in major IEO projects proposed by Binance and if you are more lucky you will have tickets to invest in that project. Actually Binance is benefiting the most because they will earn huge amounts of money from investors and the projects that want to be listed here also cost a lot of money to have the opportunity to get the IEO here. Personally i see the importance of Binance and both have great profits after the IEO ends

Most IEO launch by binance always sold our in just few minutes and need hold BNB coin at least a month. If others IEO always like binance, perhaps ICO will change the face to IEO and no more ICO. But right now, i think ICO still exist and a lot good project from developers team

it looks like the ICO will not be deleted, because there are still some ICOs that are still running well and smoothly. maybe just limiting the ICO that appears to be sorted so that there is no ICO scam or the like.

I also noticed that this is a losing business, a lot of people have lost a lot of money,
the project team does not even put up tokens for good exchanges, and on small exchanges the price drops sharply

Why do people say that ICO will be deleted. Can't we see many ICOs ourselves that are still good and people still invest a lot in the ICO. Why do people think about such things, actually ICO can't be removed anytime soon. By reason of many ICO scams.

I think the answer to that question is yes, reason being that the number of IEOs now shows that no upcoming project wishes to trade the path of ICOs again owing to their bad history (although some are good). So with this way or at this rate with which IEOs are coming up I don't think ICOs will have a chance to last again.
Yes, for now, ICO reputation has been very bad in the eyes of Investors, because many crime cases originated from ICO that could never be managed, so that with the IEO it was hoped that the Investment would run safely.

If ICOs are continue to create bad image and perform badly then being obsolete is one step ahead. People will not choose this kind of investment in the future. Who wants to give away money to shitty projects anyway? Hope some companies creates better ones next.

I won't blame anyone for saying or instead believing that ICOs will soon phase out, if at all they haven't already.
Since this year I do not think I have come across any project going for ICO, as all upcoming projects are going the IEOs way because it has proven to be better for investors.
IEOs are doing well more than ICOs owing to the exchange backing it, that is to say the exchange an IEO is launched on also contributes to the success of that IEO.

No! ICO will be back on track, it is passing the bad time because of the long bear market, lots of scams and dead projects! Though IEO is a better choice than ICO but still Ico will not phase out. The crypto market still has some potential ICO projects like BCnex, Tecracoin, Moozicore, Cindx and so on!
