I am sure that ICO soon to return again. IEO is a first-class thing, but ICO is a basis of all crypto of the industry. ICO will surely return soon. If the market continues the growth, then it happens very soon. I very much wait for emergence of ICO because it is very difficult to participate in good IEO.
unfortunately, i am now convinced that the ico market will not be around for long. reputable projects will probably carry out only an ieo or sto in the future and not longer a ico.

ICO is already phasing out and being replaced by IEO. A lot of investors stopped participating in ICOs cause of fraud/scam and that is why there were so many dead and unprogressive projects in 2018. IEO is the future of fundraising and reputable exchanges help in ascertaining fake projects.

Yes, you are right, there was an evolution of ICO this year and now the market is dominated by IEO projects. In my opinion, this is the best solution at the moment, which solves all the ICO problems. STO projects have not yet proved their effectiveness and there are very few of them.

well, most systems from selling tokens from a project have switched from ICO to IEO, or STO. however, there are so many things that make people think that ICO is very vulnerable to scammers. I fully agree with your opinion. The risk of losing money in the ICO is very big now for the reasons you mentioned. IEO makes me more credible. In this case, the tokens will already be traded on the exchange and they can always be sold.

I doubt if ICO will ever end. The devil you know is better than the angel you do not know. The nature of projects that has the most tendency to disguise and not easily noticeable as scam are STOs, because i have seen a lot of scam STOs, yet they claimed they are legally backed up by regulatory bodies. Any STO that does not have the required document from SEC, which should also be confirmed from them, should be seen as potential scam.
It seems so. As IEO and STO are gaining popularity and they are getting positive responses from investors and traders, ICO is taking a last seat it seems. ICO has been misinterpreted by fake projects, thus reducing it only to cheat investors in its name. I think project should good enough not to scam investors and bounty hunters instead of blaming ICO, IEO or STO.

Indeed, i think ICOs still running in near future and many are good project. The trend right now is IEOs and investor prefer choosing IEOs from big exchangers because its profitable for short term.
ieo's are new and when the time comes i think other new release ieo will not be good as the earlier ieo's ( same thing happend when ico before were also new ) , so my message for the ico haters out there is that dont be confident with your ieo's , you never know maybe ieo's are going to phase out more earlier compare to ico

And as the current trend now, IEO's are changing the way of how people look at fundraising, and it's indeed effective. I've participated in an IEO that sold out their private sale and their IEO and I'm seeing better communication with the coins I'm getting, very similar to other projects that are being controlled now by these exchanges. I guess what we need is just a solid project that will successfully raise funds using an ICO and make it well known to the public that they did it the right way, and maybe that will bring the people's trust back.

I think ICOS will continue if it will be strictly regulated if not it will die, the reputation of ICOS are so bad because most projects are scam. It's better to participate on IEOS right especially on binance launchpad, if you are lucky to get in then easy money.
