Certainly, with any businesses, I'm also picky. Because business is not a gamble, in oder get money, you have to spend knowledge and time to do research.

Picky is the least I can be when it comes to ICOs. They are capable of bringing high returns on income but are an easy way to lose all your earnings in no time. Therefore, picky is the least one needs to be when it comes to ICOs - I read a lot of threads, posts, sites, predictions, whitepapers, and comments about upcoming and ongoing projects, in order to know that my choice is as good as it can be. After all, fund raising has never been easy - we just need to run the extra mile for this long-term benefit.
For example, I'm currently searching for information regarding Bountie and Giftz.io. I already read their whitepapers and checked the companies behind them, which speaks for their credibility. I'm currently searching for more information coming from individual investors, in order to make sure that these projects are decent and not SCAMS. Has anyone heard anything about them and can provide me with more detailed info?
Thanks

Are you picky with ICOs?

yes, I am very picky when it comes in joining a certain ICO, I always make sure first that the project is good, I read articles and their white paper, I want the ICO that I will join to have a clear goal and has a plan to achieve it. I also get some opinions to much more experienced people here in these forum.
better do that before placing your money, investing with ico is really risky so we needed to be more picky with those project that really got real concepts and goals,
project with good developers and more supporters behind are much have a bigger chances to succeed.

If you are not picky with ICO's I think you end up getting a lot of pure rubbish.

Take time to do your research.

I think not I'm not a person like that because as you ask my background my first ICO I join was only this campaign I advertise and it will end the campaign this month of January that I don't know where to find a ICO that will be successful.

With so many ICOs out there you must be picky unless you have too much asset that you are not afraid to lose.
I have come across some ICOs that can't even afford to hire a decent translator or have a spell check on their website, how am I suppose to invest in those?

Usually scammers do not spend a lot of money on design and advertising of the project, so you need to be very careful not to give them your money. Now only 5% of promising projects.

I just don't believe them in 90%. The most of them is scam and just fooling people. The key point is a team and I'm always looking really carefully what projects they been through.

Yes there are so many ICO's out there that you can now choose to be picky because you have so much choice.

When I am researching an ICO, if I find any bad signs I simply move onto the next one.

Me too, I am also picky to all ICOs. Because of me being so picky I always waste my time reading all about new icos and forget to join them, I always end up losing interest to that specific icos after reading more comments.

Yes, we should be. Because we will put our money into it so we should be careful nd it will be too much. I will research into the ones that I want to invest. So in some ways, we should be picky.

Are you picky with ICOs?

I do very much because it is my defense mechanism to also avoid being scammed and to make the most out of my investments. I have learned a lot from my friends and colleagues who had made mistakes when it comes to choosing the right ICO and I think it is a good thing to be picky in this topics.

Yes, there are many scams out there, we should pick the legitimate one to ensure the safety of our coins. Pick the legitimate one by inspecting first the website of the ICO, the purpose of the project, their team and the campaign manager of the bounty.

More than 50% of ICOs are scam so it´s really necessary to be picky. If you don´t do that, you can waste your money and time in an useless project.

Are you picky with ICOs?

Of course I chose ico. Because if we do not choose ico, we will get a scam ico and even harm us. Learn first ico project that we want to choose to avoid the ico scam.

Of course one should be picky when choosing an ICO, always check the team, if they have working product already - it's better. Check all info that you can get, check what people in some TG and slack groups tell about it - then you'll be good
