Well, now on september 2018 ethereum dropped even lower than the 200 usd mark, right now it is recovering but it was definitely something unexpected as it was recovering a bit on august after several months dropping, the same thing happened to bitcoin.
in any case this is what happens on the crypto-currency market possible artificial manipulation. in my opinion the market can not be bad when new investments are pouring in and new projects are being developed based on the block chain.

I'm not at all surprised at the price of eth for today. This was to be expected. But I am convinced that very soon the market will start to grow.
I am surprised not only by the price of Ethereum, but that was to be expected when everything went to hell. All fraudulent projects brought money to Fiat, thereby bringing down the rate of Ethereum! hope that all behind.
Its very much sad to see etherum get to such price of 175$ before rallying back to 208$ per etherum. I believe that etherum would be great again during the bull run
