Mine is on a plane from HK to Europe as we speak, but won't be in my hands until Tuesday?! Sad [I called to ask]

All the cabling and wiring ready, I can be up and running in 2 minutes once I have my blades.

Same to me, they say it will arrive Tuesday. I am in Europe too.

Yeah, they'll land in Germany or something first I guess, move to the UK over the weekend with some luck, but then Bank Holiday on Monday, so Tuesday is the earliest we can hope for.

What number did you call for info, I'll check too Smiley

Thanks! Appreciate the answer!

hey guys,

can anyone point me in the right direction in terms of electrically wiring this board?

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1VMO3VfIBy3KIwUaaQ8XhKrSVEbXeeMEqsVhhk6Bz9io/edit?pli=1

so the doc says this:

1. The two poles for the positive polarity are identical when cabling from the PSU, so are those for the negative polarity.

i'll be getting myself a psu with 12v/10a output so when i bare the wires, how will i know which wire goes into which hole? the picture below belongs to LainZ and i'm trying to figure out how to wire the board when it arrives...

look at another side of the blade. You will see "+ + - -" marks. So + goes to + and - to -.

For some awesome reason, I'm getting mine on monday. Strange considering I'm literally as far away from china as you can be...

Argentina? (The Moon?)

I'd answer, but the light won't reach you until tomorrow.

I think it would be benefical if we don't pursue this matter further. It's just pointless noise.

Can anyone please confirm the dimensions of the block erupters?

Did you find out the dimensions? i too would like to know before they arrive Smiley

Thanks!

That's what I found:

 Hasher size: 233mm x 116mm with a 227mm x 100mm x 19mm heat sink attached to its back
  Power module size: 192mm x 89mm
  Ethernet controller size: 86mm x 40mm

anyone elses shipment "on hold"  ?   also i signed up for e-mail notification and did not receive a more detailed e-mail as some are saying..

were is your shipment on hold? You got 10 blades, right. Is it been shipped in single box?

e-mail notifications - waste of time, it will not provide more detailed info then you can see on web site.

yeah friedcat confirmed there is some customs issue and he is dealing with it.. hope it gets moving asap!

actually i just checked again,  he must have got it sorted out because it appears to be on the move now

Mine is also still in Hong Kong. I called DHL for upgrading to weekend shipping, but seems to be impossible to arrange as the receiver. I tried to bribe, beg, plead, threaten and sob Smiley I'll just need to be a bit more patient I guess.

Man I really hope I don't screw up anything with the PSU. That'll be a thrill.

One advise, do not test right now your blade on btcguild, they are not giving any work to newly registered asic miners at the moment. So, you may get confused, when you will connect your blade and then it will be zero zero everywhere. one pool which is relatively Ok at the moment bitcoin.cz. If you want to see more or less correct hash rate you can go to  mmpool.bitparking.com/pool

I think I am missing something important here.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1VMO3VfIBy3KIwUaaQ8XhKrSVEbXeeMEqsVhhk6Bz9io/edit?usp=sharing&pli=1#

That link is all we have about configuring the blade?

I mean I figured that the blade has ip 192.168.1.254 and web interface at port 8000. But for that I had to run tcpdump and nmap. That is too hardcore.
And how am I supposed to know that I need 12V current?
It took me half an hour to figure that the blade starts only if the red "thing" is inserted into blade.
