Can anybody tell me how this newly created block can be 'worth' 33.7BTC?
https://blockchain.info/tx/0d940ffe19e9ba005790c01101f9a317229bffb50b31e509e50dd81cb77615dc
(the rest of the new blocks is about 25BTC + ~1% extra because of the transactions fees, not 34% Tongue)
Because this transaction was included in the block and has an 8.6BTC fee: https://blockchain.info/tx/635c9f18d0da887efa859232df301fd550daa394eececf544d0e4e24a6480ad7

That's still considered an accident though, right? There's no valid reason to attach that large of a fee regardless of the number of BTC being transacted, right?

@ Maciek: I assume you've send a message to asicminerblades A gmail.com with the info like described here? (and not a PM)

Yes I did. I guess I just have to wait. I just thought that somebody here was ordering some 12gh/s Blades recently and could tell me how long the waiting time is Smiley

I've emailed too, and have had no response for a few days too.

My guess: Someone spent 8.7 Btc as fee.
Maybe he wanted to do the miners a favour :3
(or more likely it was an accident)

Was anyone ordering ASIC Blade for 49.99 BTC from friedcat recently? I'm sad because I'm waiting 3rd day for the reply...

how many were you ordering?  50?  100?  1000?
Just 1 blade and then 2 more. It's going to be almost 150BTC. I just politely ask for the waiting time. I would like to pay and wait for the delivery in que. Smiley

this could be your problem.. lol

I think you're confusing them with the sticks Wink
Just 1 blade should be no problem.

Anyone noticed the Asicminer ads?  Grin

What is the ad linking too ?

Maybe this page.

But I don't get why they've only updated the startpost of this page with new pics.
(Difference is that the new thread is 50 minimum instead of 300)

Still don't get why those nice mining pictures aren't added to the startpost..

Runeks, love your chart!  Would it be possible to adjust your second chart, or add a new one, so that there is an overlay of the previous week(s)?  Basically I want to easily at a glance see if we are doing better or worse then last week without having to hover over the line and count the days.  Donations incoming after I get my next divs (spent last weeks on hookers and blow already) as I realize I look at your chart daily, and I have yet to donate to you!
Thanks! Donations are very much appreciated, and very motivating. Smiley

I'm working on this now. It might take some time, as I'll need to restructure some things.

Also, I'm changing my donation address on the page, because the one displayed is from Bitcoin Qt, and I'm using Armory now. Just so you're not surprised if you see a new one the next time you look (I still have the Bitcoin Qt wallet, so they're not lost if they're sent to that address, I just don't see them until I open up Bitcoin Qt again).

Owning direct shares are more secure as you are only exposed to the risk of Asicminer defaulting or friedcat not honoring payouts (not likely).

You add another layer of risk by owning PT shares.

However, PT shares are much more liquid as you can buy and sell them very easily.  You can also buy as small as 1/100th of a share (TAT).

Basically it's a tradeoff, Ease of entry vs. security.

Also PT shares receive a slightly smaller dividend (I believe -%5)

Only the micro does. G.ASICMINER-PT recieve them in full.

Learning the troll avoidance button :)
BTW for all those people claiming ASICMINER is charging too much for Blockerupters, check out EBay for BFL.
Two SC Singles which retail for $$2500 each, are going on EBAY for $50,000.

Mind you this isn't for immediate shipping. It's for an early place in line!!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/60GH-s-Bitcoin-ASIC-SC-Single-Butterfly-Labs-Order-1208-July-15-/161041222276?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item257ece0a84

Compared to this Blockerupters are a bargain, and ASICMINER should be able to sell as many as they can produce. (EBay arbitragers should take care of that.)

Another note, I could not find a single BFL device that was ready to ship on EBay. (No wonder USB sticks are being marked up.)

Did you notice the name of the seller?  Smiley Ah, not the same guy.  Tongue

He only wants $40K now.
