Thumbs up!  I like the cat in the frying pan better.  Can someone come up with a slick slogan?

Fried, not grilled.  ASIC Mining.  ASICMiner.  AM.  etc. etc.   Cheesy

i'd want permission from AM before i started putting names in there.. don't wanna get in trouble  Cool

Put "Cat Rich or Fry Trying"

Or "Minin' the chain, one block at a time"

It will get double doubletakes, due to making no sense outside the BTC world.

sorry, I prefer the one where the cat is actually IN the pan... and in black... if anyone wants in on that let me know Smiley

that might be the one i posted?

i have a t-shirt press, i'd be willing to print a run if we could get a dozen orders.

EDIT: this one here:

I would order the cat IN the pan.

I've created a separate thread where you can do exactly that.

Don't go ordering from that "crowd-funded" t-shirt spring website or whatever it is. Order from one of your fellow forum members Smiley

The board had a meeting yesterday. friedcat is doing well and is very busy with growing the company.

I understand some of you guys want more information, but releasing information has to fit with the strategy of the company, which means that sometimes things are progressing in a secretive manner. Of course this doesn't help with investment decisions.

I recommend that the PT operators or willing board members should compile questions from smaller investors and feed them to friedcat in a structured manner. Maybe the replies could be organized as a FAQ. He simply doesn't have time to dig through the forum and answer questions here.

I would be willing to take on this task, perhaps even do this on a monthly basis. Please PM me with questions you would like friedcat to address, with the subject line "ASICMiner FAQ". I will compile them and send it to him. As previously mentioned, friedcat may not answer the question if he deems that it may divulge Bitfountain's strategy/plan to competitors.

Just posting another reminder for those that have questions for friedcat. A few of us have started to compile questions for submission. Please keep in mind that it is very possible he may not answer some/any questions but would still like to submit them, on behalf of the "minority shareholders."

Price at bitfunder can be bid at 2.3+, or buy at 2.4, still cheap.

We are still attempting to get this crowdfunded friedcat t-shirt off the ground. We need 5 more and we can all get ours!

Just shows that ASIC is strong
I was a bit surprised, I was watching the exchange on another stock S.Dice last time and when the price went up to 200/btc the share prices plummeted and when the price dropped the share price rose. So assumed that the price would actually go up because it cost more in BTC to maintain that share price

S.Dice is gambling, and people tend to gamble a set amount of dollars, whatever that may be in Bitcoin at the time. So S.Dice's share price is very closely linked to the price of BTC.

ASICMINER produces Bitcoins, so the dollar price of BTC shouldn't affect the share price much at all. It still does, but not nearly as much as something like S.Dice.

CoinChat is definitely not a PRISM data provider by the way Smiley

I'll get a SSL certificate and look into client sided security too, on the level of Cryptocat.

I wonder how many USB block erupters will be sold this week with the forum ads. From my experience, the ads weren't that effective for the price. Mining hardware is probably different.

"Someone" with unlimited pre-order money drives the prices up like crazy.   Roll Eyes
