rockxie从IPO开始就是ASICMINER的董事会成员,现在也是Bitfountain的中国区分销商。
Google Translate translates this as,

"rockxie IPO beginning ASICMINER from a board member, is now Bitfountain's distributor in China."

And,

Rockxie is the member of board since the  ASICMINER  IPO start.
And now he is distributor of Bitfountain in china.

Hey guys, short question: Is it okay to use a Bitstamp address for ASICMiner shares?
Doing this is generally not recommended.
It seems that BitStamp does keep your deposit addresses as "yours" forever, so in this respect as long as BitStamp sticks around you should probably be okay, but why take that risk?
Also, if you ever plan on selling your directly held ASICMINER shares, the buyer (or friedcat, if there was ever some kind of dispute) may ask you to cryptographically sign a message to prove your ownership of your registered address, which you won't be able to do if it's really BitStamp's.
Better to stick with one of the main clients or at least use a Blockchain.info wallet address, which does let you sign/verify messages with your address.

Hey guys, short question: Is it okay to use a Bitstamp address for ASICMiner shares?

I would recommend against it, get a Blockchain/Electrim/Armory wallet instead.

Well blame Google Translate, obviously it is not perfect.

I did that because I think what Friedcat says in relation to ASICminer, even if it is in another language, should be posted here.

Dream become broken often
How can people be upset that their may be a price drop?

Sort of like being upset it's raining. Kind of childish.

Maybe you bought it at too high of a price then if you are upset about a price drop. For anyone who bought at <2 BTC a share, of which there are many, than they aren't too shook up about a potential drop from 2.5 to 2.4 a share.

Good point.  It's also a question of short-term speculation vs long-term growth/viability.  Even if you bought at/near the recent high, near-term dips below your buy-in price don't matter if you have confidence in AM management in the long run.

I believe in AM shares...฿ 2.679 for 1 share is what i paided...and i'm happy i did it cause i believe share price will continue to climb, also pray/hope i'm right Smiley so i hope they keep 20-30% of the network for a long time to come...

No problem learning more and getting less confused with each clarification Smiley
In Friedcat's dividend where did that 0.00000001 come from?

Before friedcat sends the dividends transaction, he sends another transaction that is used to identify how many shares each address owns.  If you own 1 share, you get paid 0.00000001.  If you own 5 shares, you get paid 0.0000005.  If you own 2000 shares, you get paid 0.00002000, etc.  Since there are people that do own only 1 share, this transaction always has at least one 0.00000001 payment in it and so it always looks like spam.

Thanks for explaining the client change and hope that algorithm adaption occurs sometime in the near future
Is their any time-frame at this stage on that

Gavin didn't say.

So that's why it treats the sending as spam when sent in chain blocks.
I was wondering if its the algorithm adoption is correlated to any project development threads for referencing similar to this

Thanks again Smiley
