Welp, all of my AUC3s apparently came "unflashed". I sent Steve an email but they haven't responded yet so I'm just putting this here. Anyone know how to flash the AUC3 converter?

Are you familiar with avr programming? If so you may be in luck. The AUC uses a NXP mcu that can programmed using LPCXpresso IDE freeware. You can look at their repo for it here: github.com/Canaan-Creative/Avalon-USB-converter

Hey guys.....for some reason starting last night, I noticed on my ckpool app, that I started losing connection to the pool, and of course get the usual email that a "share hasn't submitted a share in the last 5 min.  Happened about 5 times.  Course after about 10 min or so....it would restart back up without any intervention on my part.  But it just did it again 5 min ago...and waiting for it to pick up again...any ideas?

Your net connection to the pool was spotty.

Kano had an issue pool side.

Thanks Phil...

Looks like Canaan has been testing a controller build an Avalon8 machine  Shocked

This is correct and very interesting in my opinion as well.  Smiley
When you look at every file that has been added or modified for the A8, you'll notice that they are using a new ASIC chip A3210 with it.

There are also short mentions about the AvalonMiner 821 miner.

here is a merge pull request for the Avalon8:

Not quite sure if anyone experience this problem. My last batch of 60 avalons had pretty much 50% dead AUC3 converters. The little light turns on but the green/blue light doesn't.

Anyone got the same problem? Anyone know how to fix these little buggers?

https://canaan.io/   still off line.

30 dead   auc's =  really bad.

I know you have a lot of experience.  but maybe if you use a really good brick  they would work

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Anker-Quick-Charge-3-0-63W-5-Port-USB-Wall-Charger-PowerPort-Speed-5-for-Galaxy-/152612236453?

now to make really sure  enough power is going to  the  rasp pi  buy this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2pcs-USB2-0-Dual-Male-to-Micro-USB-5P-Male-Y-Cable-for-Hard-Disk-Drive-Case-/132046800996?

and finally  use  that same one

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2pcs-USB2-0-Dual-Male-to-Micro-USB-5P-Male-Y-Cable-for-Hard-Disk-Drive-Case-/132046800996?

to the auc

so anker brick >  dual usb micro usb cable >>> > rasp pi 3 >>> dual usb micro usb cable >>> auc >>>> five pin >>>> avalon 741

about 18 months ago I did the two 25 avalon 6 group buys   when auc's were bad  we would do better bricks and better cables.

Hey Phil, thanks for the info as always man! I'll see if I can get these little bastards to fire up. The funny thing is, all the old ones from the last batch seems to work fine.........wierd.

In other news: 20 L3+ = 3 dead hashboard in 3 days........No RMA in sight. At this rate I think my 741s are probably gonna break even faster than the l3+'s. And those things costs MORE. What kind of world are we living in?

Hi guys,
I have some news for you. After I sent email to minerwarez about the shocking shipping prices, they admitted that there really was a problem with the shipping calculator.

Quote
Hello,

Yes it is a problem with the shipping calculator we have let them know and we should have it back to the correct function shortly.
Thanks,
Nick

I also noticed that I am not the only one who has this problem. Some other guys in facebook also complained about the shipping prices. So the question is how many of you or how many of the customers have been illegally charged with more money than the real shipping price?
