I had hoped that at the end of my several-month wait I might get a 4-module surprise in my units.

Nope, they only shipped the regular 3 modules.  No surprise.

Does it matter that his order is in the store?  That store might disappear tomorrow "due to technical problems" of course.
Or sit in the "store" until his domain expires.

You should be glad your order was not added to the "store".  You only lost 2K, not ~10K like others.

 So bfl started to send out some stuff (very slowly but at least they do) and avalon started to leaving their customers ? What does this world come to!!

Ouch.  Considering ASICMiner selling 13GH/s for BTC3.5 or BTC0.27/GH/s,
these "trade-ins" are now priced like ASICMiner hardware  

Except of course, ASICMiner delivers their hardware within 3-4 days. 

So what is happening lately, are people starting to receive their trade-in units? Refunds being processed perhaps?

No, sorry, I realize not everyone did, I guess I'm glad at least some of the folks did.

I just did the math on my Icarus Trade-ins.

I am out $2460.50 + profit.

Yifu really screwed some of us pretty bad.

I asked for an upgrade of my trade-in order so I can be one of the first in line for the Avalon Gen2 55nm miner.

After ignoring us for months I think they owe us, "the special ones" something special!

I have an address I'm supposed to send BTC to, but I will not send anything because I no longer trust them. IMHO they stole my Icarus from me and owe me 3 BTC in mining profits on each of them.

I'm glad the rest of you got your units finally, though.

Hmm yeah  what is that like $300 per board or something. Even at this stage if you have several trade in units it would still be better to get avalon miners instead of the btc or $ equivalent of the trade-in credit. Now on the other hand if you already paid them you would be better off getting your btc refund back and invest in more power efficient hardware (ie bitfury, knc, etc).

Are you ok man?  I worry about you.

FYI:

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Guys at this rate you'd be lucky to get your money back in btc terms. Most of you sadly will never reach break-even What a disaster.

9/5/2013 - Trade-ins have still not been honored.  Nor have Trade-ins even been added to my account when I have proof of Mr. Chen signed for them.  Value:  $2000  This is an ongoing ~5 month issue.

News update:

There has been a report that big Yifu has been spotted just outside of Yellowknife, Alaska.
Local residents were aware of elusive creature for some time.  "He comes early in the morning, usually during full moon to feed on young and naive miners." - said Randolph Weedwacker, president of a local rifle club (or more precisely a 10 ac bush lot on the outskirts of town). 

President Obama vowed to eliminate the constant threat that miners in Alaska face by hunting down and catching the elusive creature, dead or alive.  "He might have been able to run, but he will not be able to hide from our marshals.  It is a matter of time before they find and capture him.  Michelle loves stuffed animals and she would love to add him to her collection." - said distraught president.

 

One trade in was received yesterday-Avalon 3 modules batch3.
One is on the way.We expect to be here after 1-2 days.
Was payed 17.4 BTC(for unit) on the first wave when Yifu was starting to make the orders for tradein's.
That's just for information about trade-in for peoples who still waiting for theirs units.So late with these units.

Yifu FatAssFucker Guo has violated his own term given in the end of 2012. The trade-in units' value has declined to 10% of what it should be.
