Finally ethereum classic vision hardfork is turned out to be scam & they required private keys of peoples who wanted to take advantage of hard forked Coin ECTV but sadly some they may have fallen into their hands & could have lost his or her existing ETH or other token by giving private keys. Thanks Op for creating this post to make BTT members vigilant.

I think you should state your information in detail why we should be very careful with those projects that were mentioned. What are your proofs that you are certain with such accusation and what are the links that these projects have also a thread of complaints about it that will really prove that they are fraudulent?

To strange projects at once not. Moreover, buying during an ICO is a waste of money. Now is the time to choose among the assets traded on the exchange. Even in this case there is a big risk to buy a scam coin.
Indeed a great reminder especially for the new members. Many ICO's keep popping everyday and selling their ideas and want to raise some money with no actual product. Investors now are more cautious in their investment they don't want to be victim with the likes of bitconnect and etc. Smart investors would invest in regulated ICO's so that they have peace of mind.
It's sad how some people are trying hard to undermine what some crypto based projects are trying to achieve by hiding behind them to defraud people. We should be very careful with anything that looks suspicious, if it's not the real thing it is not.
Maybe we need to analyze each project from the factors of teams, references, partners, and advisors who play an important role in the project. Scammers happen everywhere and its hard to predict, for example Tokenpay. Their team moves well, their sales are very good and they have good prices at the beginning of entering the market but they dont pay bounty hunters for various reasons. Of course, we can judge that every ICO project is a scam, and we must be careful to invest in any project.
We have to make our research before investing and monitor the project . It is better to join a bit later but make sure
that there is an active team which will deliver on their promises. Still, there is no guarantee that they will not scam us

I start see a lot of scam last time, it about projects, teams, currencies, ICOs. I think now very difficult situation with cheating for all cryptocommunity, hope soon it will be possible to change, waiting..
Guys, it have come to my notice that some criminal minded guys are busy creating tokens and using it to defraud people, example of those tokens are *ripple classic,stellar classic, eos classic*, becareful guys and don't fall victim to their sweet mouth, they are busy listing them in almost exchanges and using that to brainwash guy.... Becareful and guard ur money like ur whole life depends on it
These currencies were created only to mislead new users and earn on a hype around the Ethereum hardfork. It would not be a surprise for me that after Ethereum hardfork postponement, these criminals will create similar attempts of scam. So watch out for the next scam coins.
The world of cryptocurrency is very dangerous. That is why I try to always be very careful. I am very picky about new projects.

Oath protocol has the unique idea because it is frist of this type. We don't have to go away frm strange project. We have to seize the opportunity. I am going for Oath protocol.
Its so strange what we see these days on exchange i mean it very irritating how far these things gets everyday we should look out carefully at what we see on exchange before getting involved with them there is a lot of strange things happening
Most of those who fall victim of these shit coins are those who cannot afford to devote the time to do the appropriate research needed to decipher the authenticity of the project.
I noticed that there are specific exchanges where those coins are listed, so i try to avoid them as much as possible. If peradventure i have no choice than to use them, i do not carryout my regular trading on it.
Trust me, there are even project that seemed to be totally legitimate. But they end up scamming at the very end when no one notices. They hide their scheme and acts professional. So can't completely blame the users for this. And sometimes projects fail. There is nothing the user or the developers can do. Users took their risk joining it and they knew about the outcomes. JUst one question mate,have you become to be a victim of these coins?if not why spreading this accusations?i believe that before we put kind of thread like this we must be aware to provde atleast some proofs of them victimizing people here,though the truth is I don’t care for these altcoins since i own nothing from them,and will never tru buying incase i will add another on my folio Jump to:
