There's no familiar project out there. All are strange. Many of them created by criminal minded fellows who has the heart to take ftom people. This is really bad. Everyone should really watch out.
I thought why there must be someone who has such intentions, in my opinion it is a crazy thing. They have no feelings. How do you find it hard to raise money, and they actually commit fraud. Hopefully hit by karma.
The whole crypto community is vulnerable to these sort of fake projects. And one reason why people cannot stop following them is that some of the projects that are seen as scam do very well after listing so we are always confused as to which project to invest in.
I support the OP that the best is to avoid some clear scam projects that we all know that it may be a scam. We shouldn't be greedy for every money on the internet.

It's true that most of the projects are scam. We need to be very careful while selecting coins to invest. Better we should invest in top 10 or top 20 coins so there would be low chances of scam.
Thanks for the advice I hope newbies won't fall victim and to my own research I came to understand that even legendary members and full members are joining this fake projects like ethereum classic vision bounty ,after checking the spreadsheet I was surprised upon all the scam allegations and the dev still doesn't defend the project and they decide to stay anonymous
Guys, it have come to my notice that some criminal minded guys are busy creating tokens and using it to defraud people, example of those tokens are *ripple classic,stellar classic, eos classic*, becareful guys and don't fall victim to their sweet mouth, they are busy listing them in almost exchanges and using that to brainwash guy.... Becareful and guard ur money like ur whole life depends on it
I totally agree! many scammers nowadays are becoming smarter that they copy the name of popular coins and altcoins but have different contract so people must be vigilant and careful before buying crypto. Please do an intensive research and ask in legit forums and group chats to avoid being scammed.This thread has already explained a lot about that

Scammer was trying various way to scam others. These idiots person must disappear from this word and scammers are cancers for this space.

Lot of coins also created with the name of bitcoin too,so the investor need to know their coin before investing on it.I don't think people are much fool to find and differentiate in no time.
there are lots of coin that uses a good reputation coin in the market like bitcoin I saw that there are some bitcoin also in the exchange like bitcoin SV, bitcoin gold and bitcoin private, I dont know but they are using bitcoin maybe for the reason that they will be known easily in the market.
Too bad that the good projects become less and the bad projects more.
Hopefully it will turn in 2019 and more good ones than bad projects will appear on the market.

Just as a note for myself, i always do a checking on the project that i wish to join the bounty campaign, since a good project could also giving a good promise for the bounty participant.
If everybody ger adat from strange project then a good project may become failure. So one should analyze the project on different angle like management experience type of product they offer estimated ico price or discussion of member on telegram
It's sad that because of this scams, a lot of investors have stayed away from cryptocurrency which plunged the price and made some of the legit projects failed due to not reaching the soft cap. It's just that it's hard to see some scams especially when it was professionally made. But looking at the team helped me a lot.
We do have to be careful when choosing projects, so many projects cannot choose potential projects. Fraudsters are smart and skilled at it so that we are tempted, and to overcome this we are required to do research and be alert. But still often trapped in it, this is what happens now.
In the field of cryptocurrency, a lot of strange things always happen, so do not pay close attention to them.
i will just ignore these scam coins. i think that is really the best thing you can do. but the scammers will certainly not give up and continue to bring scam coins to market. the only thing you can do about it is warn other users. 
Participating in to bounty program should be done after lots of crosschecking and verification. I'm not sure how many people are valuing their hard work that they are going to put for a campaign still I do see many scam projects are finding their success only due to the people who are all ignoring those crosschecking.
I'm always not preferring to contribute in ICOs for many reasons but the prime one must be I should not support scammy people. Instead of looking for making big money out of ICo, I am more careful on not supporting scammers, it is kind of being more conscious against scammers.
I am also finding lots of people are randomly participating in to bounty programs without checking that where they are going to work and for what people they are going to put their hard work. They simply check what are the rewards and not even looking for what is the assurance to get payment with them, but simply enrolling themselves and then start wasting their hard work. Not just with strange projects, we always must need to be more careful while choosing coins and ICOs. Because this is how, we may protect ourselves. Unfortunately many people are being careful while spending hard earned money but they become lenient when they are putting their hard work. They never understand their hard work is another form of money. But, they are ready to risk their hard work.

Today need be more careful with projects. everyday arrival alot new projects, but almost 80% of them scam. now need spend alot of time for searching enough information about project, team, some information in media and about registration of project. only after it can participate.
Scammers aren't fed up of deceiving innocent newbie, because i am sure that it is only noobs that can invest in these kind of project thanks for warning forum member this will help innocent people who are not aware.
The fact is that fraudsters are also not standing still in development and may well deceive not only beginners, but also more experienced users of cryptocurrencies.

That’s nice mate this kind of discussions is really good because it’s source of making profit by not trusting fake projects as there are so many who are ready to deceive you and take away all your money.
