It may or may not. Well a lot of project are going down the drain because they have nothing to offer. I mean if project has a good objective and has real life usage then I think investors are still willing to shell out their hard earn money even if we are in the bear market. Of course, this trend at some point will stop and a new cycle will emerge so lets just hope that 2019 will be the year of lots of positive news to stop this bleeding permanently.

It is true. Expectations are just expectations and are still different from reality. What proves this is the scenario this year. Last year was a huge year for crypto where the market value are at their peak. It gave the people huge hope that this year would be a better one but it turned out to be the worst one. Same thing could possibly happen next year.

This is happening every year, not only in 2019. Every year something new appears that is threatening cryptocurrencies and people start talking about it as this would be the biggest event from the cryptocurrency world. Just chill out, just because a new year begins doesn't mean we have to see a big change coming in. This could happen anytime during the year and we always have to expect something big to happen because I'm sure there's going to be a time when for real something big is going to happen that is going to change cryptocurrencies either in a bad way or a very good way.

let's just hope that it will goes right, it will take some time though, maybe in the middle of 2019 the market will start to recover.
it worth to wait, even if in january it will hit rock bottom we should be patient for the bullish will come eventually.

Yeah, let's think positively about that. The recovery is still unknown to be happen when it would be, clearly is in the first month of 2019 is too fast, if seen for now looks impossible. Indeed, we really want it to happen as soon as possible, but it cannot be forced. We can only wait for it to be happen.
