The recent happenings of  hack are becoming rampant that exchanges are no longer safe. If the exchanges can get hacked this means you and me stand no chance at all so in view of this if you can do get cold wallet/ Web wallet to keep ur funds safe,  never leave ur long term bags on any exchange.

Do not visit random links and also stay away from airdrops requiring your private keys or Passphrase.

Do not store your private key or passphrase online.

It's called a private key or passphrase because only you should have it and not even the developers of the app has access to it and that is why if you lose your keys you have equally lost your walllet.

Stay positive and waiting for the bull run.
Stay safe everyone!
I've been worried about this moment for a long time. I have not seen any project that would be aimed at solving this problem. Obviously, it is necessary to develop the ability to restore access to the wallet in case of loss of the private key, but at the moment it is not possible. Of course, but we have the anonymity of use, but do we need anonymity when the probability of losing their cherished coins is so high?
Scams target people of all backgrounds, ages and income levels. All of us may be vulnerable to a scam at some time. Scammers succeed because they look and sound too good to be true, and catch you off guard when you’re not expecting it. Scammers are getting smarter and taking advantage of new technology. Protect yourself, be alert to the fact that scams exist, know who and what you are dealing with.

In the first place, it is already suspicious why do they need the private key or passphrase when the only thing that they needed is your address. Be smart enough to know this things because only fools would give their private keys for just an airdrop. 10$ for your private key is not worth it guys. Be always safe.

To be safe, you need special effort. Especially, we need to pay much attention to the computers we trade crypto money.
You are responsible on how you going to keep safe what you have. Sometimes account has been hacked because of the big amount that keep on it. You have to make multiple account or never keep an amount that you are holding in exchanges. To be safe is also on your hand because sometimes when we are overwhelmed on something we forget that we are doing and being careless.

Yeah we should be responsible to all our investment, it's our money at stake. Taking care of our private keys and avoid those phishing sites to avoid being a victims of those hackers. Although everything can be hack while it goes online but we can minimize the risk if we are careful with our transactions.

I totally agree on this, this is why people should be discourage on storing funds on exchanges. OnCE you put your funds in an exchange,  you already do not have control over your fund. Instead of storing it in a exchange, better store it in an open source wallet like what I'm using called Hodler wallet,  it is open source meaning you have the Full control over your fund no third trusted party needed. It is also the also the only open source multi wallet avaible so you could store any coin you prefer.

Yes we must be very careful of what we are doing and where we are surfing online because anything online can be hack and is not safe. I heard so many news about scam since last year up to now and it is very alarming. I am quite afraid for my coins online so yes I am not holding it so long in any wallet or exchanger online.

Never trust an exchange you need to verify the security of your funds. Since you don't hold your own private key, the security of your fund is potential for vulnerabilities and tge worse case scenario is that the coin might be lost forever. Better transfer big funds in your own wallet.

I don't really do that, storing private key online is a risk especially EXCHANGERs this a good warning to Newbies never to store anything that has to do with your wallet access online even on your phone and also make sure in all of your important ACCOUNTs you hit it with Google authenticator for your ACCTS to be safe and make sure its not everyone you let access to your phone. TRUST NO ONE!.

Exactly! You need to be careful, never store your bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies in the exchange, you need to move it to your personal wallet if you are planning to hold for long-term, because in most of the exchanges now are very risky, you don't hold the private keys of wallets.

It is better to safe bitcoin in the separate wallet and doesn't put all of Bitcoin we have in one wallet because this will makes us very careful and extra secure. We need to hold some amount on the exchange so we can still trade and make a profit and after we get the profit, it is better to send the profit into another wallet. Stay safe and be careful in the cryptocurrency and in the exchanges that we use for trading in daily so we can keep bitcoin amount safe in our wallet.

There are always hackers who are trying to steal the cryptocurrency or bitcoin that we have, so always be aware and pay close attention to everything we will do in connection with the crypto or bitcoin that we have. The security of crypto or bitcoin that we have is our own responsibility and indeed only we are able to guard it to avoid hackers.
Yes, we have an responsibility to guard our cryptocurrencies to the hacker because we are the one who keeps and protects our private keys to other people on which is the only thing to access our wallet and having a big possibility to steal all the stored cryptocurrencies if we didn't keep it properly and expose all the information to the other people. Also be aware for those links that was been similar to the first website that we have been trusted because their is a big chance that the new website was been a phishing site that steals all the data that we have. Be aware and be responsible for every activities that we have been doing here that was been related to cryptocurrencies so that the funds we stored are safe and secured properly.

Hackers will always spy on us and be in every place that allows them to steal the crypto or bitcoin we have, whether they are in the market or in other places. The most important thing is that we must be able to store the crypto or bitcoin that we have in a place that we think is very safe and do not carelessly enter a site that we do not know and pay attention to every site or exchange etc. related to crypto or bitcoin that we have, not until wrong and it turned out to be a hackers trap that we ended up trapped in their trap.

Your own decision and precautions avoid you from scammed, so buy Bitcoin or altcoins only from the recognized exchange and not from the direct seller. And also do not open any phishing sites or emails which gives you higher return deals.
According to me protect your account with Google authentication, protect your private key, use other computer for any type of transactions. And if you store your Bitcoins or altcoins  for long term then use Trezor or Ledger Nano S.
But before do all these things, do your own research before any transaction, instead to faith on anyone. And if you made good research then you will never be scammed or hacked by anyone.

If you don't own private keys, you don't own your coins. So if you don't want to daytrade, keep your coins out of the exchangers, in your wallet. Once they are lost, they are lost, and you can't do nothing. be safe.

thank you for the warning, because even though people already know but sometimes they forget and like to make mistakes, which makes them lose their assets, so with this warning it will keep them remembering to stay careful, not careless so as not to lose crypto assets they have.

The subject of security and keeping safe from phishing is always hot, and has always reminded people of fraudsters, but the security and confidentiality is due to the owner, hoping they can keep up, without the greed that causes the foolish act to lose its owner's money from cheating from scammers.
