The recent happenings of  hack are becoming rampant that exchanges are no longer safe. If the exchanges can get hacked this means you and me stand no chance at all so in view of this if you can do get cold wallet/ Web wallet to keep ur funds safe,  never leave ur long term bags on any exchange.

Do not visit random links and also stay away from airdrops requiring your private keys or Passphrase.

Do not store your private key or passphrase online.

It's called a private key or passphrase because only you should have it and not even the developers of the app has access to it and that is why if you lose your keys you have equally lost your walllet.

Stay positive and waiting for the bull run.
Stay safe everyone!
Bitcoin behaves unpredictably. However, if you watch and learn, I think it is possible to earn. Course differences are frequent and very large, and it is not clear how to fix them even.

always be aware of every new market and low volume market. because in my opinion it's very vulnerable. store your crypto (especially bitcoin) on wallet hardware. it will be very safe. because you alone can access it. remove it when you want to sell it. and the most important thing is to store private keys in a safe place. because basically the security of bitcoin is on each person.

In this case, security needs to be given special attention and more. Do not underestimate storing password keys. That will harm your wallet. So this is a suggestion and also good advice to digest. Thank you for your time to convey this in this forum.

Choose privacy first online. With VPN, TOR or whatever keep your anonymity online should have set a default in your everyday activity and so you can rest sure you're safe. With crypto world you cannot be safe anymore if you don't take care about the consequences while you typing or just click on the web because scammers and hacker or other bad guys are there to take control on yourself ( and your funds ). Choose Privacy first

If you want to be safe choose AML BitCoin. No one will steal your coins. This is the only coin compliant with AML and KYC.

Mostly of the icos now did the kyc as compliant of AML, so what the heck are you talking about? I'm sure that's a shitcoin.

If you guys still want to trade in DEx that obviously requires to import the private keys; create a new wallet then transfer your coins there then your new wallet can be now use in DEx. The hacking vulnerability of your main wallet will be lessen as you do this since you didn't import your private keys. For full protection, always use metamask.

Thanks for an educational thread. I think most important thing is to keep your wallet keys safe and never post them anywhere.
That's correct, you don't have to post it and don't ever post it even in your emails.

Keep it offline and write it down on a piece of paper so no one can gain access to you but only you. Don't expose it that it is your private key. Do something creative by keeping it or jumbling with other words that a crypto folk won't understand that it is your private key.

It is this basic thing that all investors must be aware of, especially for beginners, because the security of your assets is a priority in cryptocurrency but based on my experience storing coins in Large exchanges is quite safe because they hold many coins of investors. So you don't have to worry if what you choose is a big exchange.

Currently there are many applications that contain many viruses and we are very difficult to avoid. Instead of being careful in every click, we should buy a hard purse. I have been using it for over a year and no hacker can ever get into my wallet stole my bitcoin.

Ignoring the fact that it's an altcoin, how exactly would AML and KYC make your coins safe? Those procedures are in place to protect businesses that facilitate a lot of cash flow from liability in case illegal entities exploit them. They do nothing to protect the users themselves, much less from hackings.

You should protect your computer and accounts from hacking. Then your safety will increase, but there are still risks.
