The recent happenings of  hack are becoming rampant that exchanges are no longer safe. If the exchanges can get hacked this means you and me stand no chance at all so in view of this if you can do get cold wallet/ Web wallet to keep ur funds safe,  never leave ur long term bags on any exchange.

Do not visit random links and also stay away from airdrops requiring your private keys or Passphrase.

Do not store your private key or passphrase online.

It's called a private key or passphrase because only you should have it and not even the developers of the app has access to it and that is why if you lose your keys you have equally lost your walllet.

Stay positive and waiting for the bull run.
Stay safe everyone!

This isn't new in this world. Everyone trying to hack someones account is just normal for them because they don't give respect to others. So all we have to do is keep our account secure, read everything twice before doing it. About the private key best thing to do is yeah don't save it on your online accounts but save it on notepad or anywhere you think it is safe.

Just don't hold all your coins on the exchange, use a wallet to store them. Only keep as much as you need for trading on the exchange.

You can only be safe if you really take action before doing anything online - like using tor browser and a VPN for beginning. Then you really be careful on what you click and what you're typing and where because the hackers are so good to take control on yourself and your privacy as welll as your funds. SO choose privacy coins always instead ! New era is coming

If you use authy then don't use gadgets connected to the internet. you should use a different device. anyone can try to hack your account / wallet with some fishing links.

Well phishing sites are everywhere and you can actually avoid that by not easily clicking sites that you saw thus sent to you.

We're all aware of the hacking issues and by now we should be knowledgeable thus in the first place we're the one who is liable for every losses.

Be mindful in everything.

I agree with this. We are responsible for the account, and we never share anything about how many coins we have, how much the money we have to other people. We need to take care of our account to the safe place, and we need to secure the private keys by offline because it's risky if we are saving the private keys in the cloud. It is better to play safe than regret in the future.

It becomes increasingly chaotic when hackers hack transactions. These large trading floors are always subject to the hacks every day, and they need to look for the earliest possible vulnerabilities to avoid potential risks. According to many articles, personal accounts beware of fake websites.

Staying safe in the crypto world solely depends on you. IF you choose to join any website offering giveaways or any form of bonuses, you expose yourself to be hacked and your coins will be stolen. There are a lot of fishing sites created just to hack into people's account to steal from them. Moreover, its not safe to keep your coin or tokens on any exchange platform. You expose yourself to all kinds of hacks. Hardware wallets are the best option to keep your coins in.

Exchanges have one major vulnerability, which is that they need to be online, that exposes them to possible hacks. That will not be the case if you are keeping your tokens yourself, you could securely do that offline

The best security is always you as an individual, I believe as individuals there is more  that we can do to protect ourselves from scam activities. The hackers would always be around but definately we need to do our best to  protect our digital assets. I believe the exchanges also need to strengthen their security systems by investing more in that respect.

It's a good advise that everyone should consider. Exchanges are not really meant for long term storage of any crypto asset. Keeping any cryptocurrency in the exchange for a shorter period of time reduces the risk of falling victim to an exchange being hacked. Regarding hardware wallets, deciding to keep your crypto assets off the grid comes with a price (literally) because cold wallets does not come cheap as some might expect. And there's a lot of things you need to consider before buying one so you get the best of features that applies to your needs.

Thankyou for informing us. Well it was really true that everywhere was not safe. Still there are bad people who tend to do evil things like hacking. Hopefully it will stop and no one will be a victim of it. We must take care of our wallet because we are only the person who is responsible for it. The private keys and password are the only key to access it so never give it to anybody.

It would seem that everyone already knows the elementary rules for the safe storage and trading of cryptocurrency, however, judging by the statistics, the number of stolen Bitcoins continues to grow. Does this all happen because of the recklessness of the coin owners, or did the hackers become much more inventive?
Maybe both.Since we are in a digital world, hackers also are already making some advancements just to continuosly and succesfully hacked other people's accounts. So we should be more careful in keeping our private keys safe that only our own selves knows it.

I agree with you. I also think that it is impossible to keep all currency in this wallet. I divide into 3-4 purses. If one is hacked, there will be others. This is a good way to protect because you can't completely insure against hacking.
