I won't say that one coin is the best coin because in my mind, as long as I can take a profit from one coin, it's enough for me and maybe I separate with a level of the coins. my first level is ethereum, litecoin, dash, zec, monero, these coins are the oldest coin except ethereum. the second level will be xem, waves, cardano, verge, eos, iota and some of these coins are newcomer in the cryptocurrency. and the third level will be new coin or coin that potential to increase. but it will change on every level if I see that one or more coin have potential in the future and I will change the list on every level.

Best Altcoin that I will buy and I invest in long-term that is Ethereum. The longer we hold the Ethereum we have the more profits we will get later. Ethereum development from year to year must always increase and Ethereum users also more and more. From the list you mentioned, focus my attention on eth. Although the eth market is weakening, but its development makes me more favored. Eth is indeed the most superior for long-term investment. For me below are the coins which are best for investment.

A cardano, and stratis, nano. He still has so many opportunities to look at different coins and further diversify his portfolio further. The good and the market and the prices it allow at the moment. Why do you choose altcoins exclusively from top 100? I think we should look at the growth of altcoins with perspective. I would prefer thekey or gladius.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.
The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.
The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.
I recently found a hidden GEM called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

I have invested in a bunch of different altcoins. There are a few that I think are really good projects that should have increasing value in the future. My top 5 are:

You can easily add neo to this list. This currency can bring a good profit for a short term. But my favorite is still the etherium. This coin still shows itself
Clear answer for this question is in my mind: Triangle of Ethereum, Litecoin and Monero.. There are many other altcoins even better than others (eos, iota, neo) but I prefer these 3 as all of them are proven good coins.

Then comes neo with me and then universa token. These three will bring very good winnings in the next 2 years. And when the waves platform is complete, waves will be my fourth favorite in 2018

As for me, number 1 is still ethereum. It is a role model for other projects. Besides eth, a good investment is neo, eos, deeponion. These coins have good prospects to become a competitor to eth.
Everyone will say that etherum is the best altcoin available today. The price of etherum often increases so many people can take momentum to take advantage. This is an opportunity that can not be eliminated, etherum becomes part of the power of crypto world. While other coins I think often experience an increase and decrease. Yes there are some who have prospects, but I think that it is no more than 10 coins. That is a fact because most altcoins are created only for a platform, in contrast to the etherum that always has a very high interest and popularity.
