I haven't seen these two new CPU-only projects, NERVA and Zettel, listed here. Both use unique hashing algorithims. I apologize if they are already mentioned and I just missed them.

NERVA is about 2 weeks old and uses a variant of the Cryptonight algorithim.  If I understand it correctly, it has 1024 variants that are cycled through.

Its [ANN] is here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-nerva-cryptonight-for-solo-cpu-miners-asic-gpu-nicehash-resistant-3464367

Zettel or ZettelKasten as the larger project is known, uses a variant of Keccak, Keccak512, I believe, but with the addition of  a 'Spread' algo that requires the private key for mining.  It was announced about six or seven weeks ago.

The [ANN] is here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-zettelkasten-zttl-new-algo-burgerhash-v6-cpu-solo-mineable-3207356

Yes. Maybe it could be worth at that time. But how will you dump when the volume on the exchanges that is listed is so low?

Good point, so:

1. Pick a coin which is listed in bigger exchanges with higher volume
2. Pick a more popular coin with higher demand
3. Pick a coin with a practical use case (ITNS claims it will be a decentralized VPN.. some day)

I have 8 low-end cpu hardware computers. Now I mine IPBC (~$0.22) and I get 6-7 coins per day (~2.2KH/s) (~$1.5 per day) - difficult is growth but price goes down
What coin is most profitable to mine now in this case? or what algorythm shoud I chouse? cryptonight, yescryptr16? or what?

CPU mining is profitable only if you:

1. Don't pay for electricity
2. Have free high-end CPUs
3. Manage servers with "I don't care" boss.
4. have many old CPUs.. on other people's computers.
5. The price jumps at some point and you manage to sell.

The oldest CPU only coin i know is Yenten.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/yenten/

THe price is ridiculous and raised only after the historical Bitcoin jump.
Since then it is flat.
It does not do anything usefull as dVPN, dApps, donations (BBP), etc, so it is like Doge, but worse.

After all that i said, if you have 5BTC worth of Yenten and BTC jumps again, that would be a lot of money Tongue

I think that Best CPU Mineable Coins is the coins that are mining from the start only on CPU, but I managed  to mine only one such coin.

Is there any profitability calculator for CPU mining? Thanks.

Apart from Nicehash's one, I have not seen any other. It only has several i7 and a few AMDs

im cpu mining kiwi now, its a minable erc20 token with the difficulty so low atm and no pool that its a gas race not a hash race, so its actually better to mine u with cpu as u have to solo mine thus pay the ethereum network gas fee for ur blocks earned.

be warned though its speculative mining ( and gambling) right now.

Aquachain
Can confirm Aquachain is CPU only. Proof of work is done with the argon2id hashing algorithm.

It is without a pre-mine. Has ETH-compatible smart contracts, 4 minute blocks, 1 coin block reward.

Haven't read the whole post but did anyone mention HexxCoin? This coin just recently gained some popularity and i was lucky to get in on it early and made a decent profit. The difficulty is still low and the price is really good at the moment. If you have a couple decent rigs you can make some serious cash with this coin.

Biblepay has been around for a while and has a fairly large community. You can definitely mine it with your rig while gpu mining other coins no problem.

I dont have strong servers, but I have some i7 CPU to do mining.
So I liked the concept of ROI coin-CPU mining only, May be I mine less 3000 coins per month, but If I term deposit it for 1-12 Month. I will get 600% more coins on my 3000 Coins. 1 ROI=88 sat not bad deal for CPU.  https://roi-coin.com

I joined their community, where development showed how to increase the efficiency of CPU. Good ideas. https://discord.gg/NKn2Ngn

interesting, two week ago you you where only mining 29 roicoin every day with your computers
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.35522473

You also promote PWR coin, a coin that stakes until all coins get lost because staking outnumbered total coin supply?  But, hey Buddie - its from the same dev  Wink Is this the reason why roicoin has no limit in supply?

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.24359687

Please do not try to fool people - these coins are only staking coins - if good or not everybody has to decide by himself.

B2T: Verium and Monero of course looking good for CPU coins

Brother its just my opinion. no body is promoting here any coin. all can share their views.   well  I mined Verium also for 1 month. the difficulty was so high , after 1 month I mined 3 verium coin  with my 3- i7 PC. in DEC, 1 verium was 18 usd. in Feburary the price went down I got 4 usd  for 1 verium.  so 12 usd after 1month Smiley

I tired mining XMR  but with my normal CPU after full day of mining I get .00034XX btc. and last month suddenly the price went down so I was disappointed.

As I mentioned in previous post I have only 3- i7 CPU, and mining ROI coin , if you have datacenter you can mine verium/xmr. its your choice.
for ROI coin, I think the reward and term deposit decreases each year.

I was in ROI discord community and I saw a post that their is PWR coin which was POS and turning POW. so I was interested in it.
I bought 10mil PWR coin for cheap and I know when PWR will go for POW(GPU) , the value of coin will increase.
I just shared my views to Hold the coil and then make profit later.

I also mined hodl coin, Stellite sometimes back,  I used to mine previous MAGI coin but the difficulity is so high for PC to mine now.

There are many CPU coins out there but depends on individual , do you want to make immediate profit or you want hold it for Long.

ITNS is the most profitable coin that one should mine and I can swear by it.

Indeed... I mined for a long time up (I started on Day 2 of the coin) until the emergency fork & resultant wallet issues.

Once the wallet is totally fixed (2.0.2 I hope) I will be back on it.

In the meantime... mining XMR has actually been well worth it.

I am using the old servers to mine and I am very excited about the Verium.
