I believe that the cryptopia.co.nz is the best exchange. With so many coins. But the withdrawal charge of bitcoin is little bit high. Otherwise it is a great exchange.

I'm also using Cryptopia and there's no complain about pending withdrawals it always arrives in your wallet, but the exorbitant fee makes you shift to other exchange or just withdraw a big amount that's what I'm doing so I will not feel the high fee.

as a beginner, the first time I use cryptopia as a crypto exchange, cryptopia is very easy to use. But it depends on you, as many exchanges are recommended and suitable for beginners.

I was away from crypto for years and now I'm trying to get back into the game.  I was really STUNNED that there is no exchange, even after many years since bitcoin started, that we can just deposit USD and start exchanging altcoins.  I hope I'm wrong because this would be the single biggest hurdle for altcoins to be widely adopted by general public.  There are just too many hurdles to jump over just to START trading.

For simplicity, I like cryptopia, but I am  not sure that it accepts USD. It is one of most simple to use and has a fun interface. Also features plenty of tokens and "shitcoins" if you want to trade for fun with a few shatosis. However, it lack Stop Loss orders for advanced users.

Binance and Kucoin are great with many listings. But at first you need to buy ETH or BTC and then transfer them to relevant exchange in order to start trading. In Ukraine there are some local exchanges where you can buy ETH and BTC for cash, but they are not very liquid. You can also try to use localbitcoin or localetherium service (google those). Bestchange can also be used, but be carefull with it. Actually be carefull with everything)) Crypto is risky.

for beginners hitbct, binance, kucoin ( no reff. link Smiley. Why? good interface to work with, paired with traidingview charts for TA. Also Kucoin has some exotic pairs that can bring profit fast.

Cryptopia should be the best all rounder exchange, yes it doesnt trade certain coins but it does allow alot of new coins on to it meaning you can take advantage of coins before they become main stream. It also has a decent interface. Coinsmarket is also good for entry level coins BUT it has such a shit interface URGGGGGGG

I think bittrex is a best thing to learn about. I don't like the idea of "learning platform"; it's better to start with a decent platform and just work there.

I would suggest you Bitfinex or kraken. Bitfinex accepts USD and kraken accepts also euro.

Me personally when I started I bought Bitcoin with fiat using cex.io and then transferred my bitcoins to Bittrex so I could start buying altcoins and that's it. I never made any more fiat deposits, I made all my money I got right now through trading altcoins. Now I'm using 3 altcoin exchanges - Bittrex, Cryptopia and Binance. I find every single coin I need in those 3 exchanges.

I've been very impressed with Bittrex.  I find it super easy to use.

Agreed, though coinbase's fees are too high.
