Can you shield more light on the word "altcoin season"? Maybe most of can learn from you. To me, the most important in promoting a project is to carefully study the project and its products/services including the teams seriousness.
indeed the best time to do a bounty promotion is that we need to wait for the altcoin season, but throughout 2018 until now the altcoin seems to have experienced a lot of difficulties, and there have even been a lot of specks that say alt will die. if that is true then it is likely that we will lose the bounty program. hopefully alt continues to grow and prosper.

there is no connection of promoting a bounty to the price of cryptos . if an investor trully shows interest to one project , he will invest on it no matter what is the status of the market but its already known that investors are more attracted on a dump market because they can invest at a lower value . however there are scenarios like on the year 2017 were most cryptos are increasing and most bounties and airdrops were also profitable .

2016-2017 is the best year for bounty hunters, there are so many good projects and good bounties and i remember one of my friend earn so much money from 1 bounty on that year.2018-2019 is the bad year for bounty, i think the best time for promoting a project is by with IEO.

You did not mention when is that altcoins season will occur or specific months, in my opinion, there is no such thing as altcoin seasons, you get to stumble great projects, regardless of what season or months, you just find one, if you do not want to bounty hunting you can anytime but there are always great projects around.
I saw some token listed and pump only in few weeks. Right time for promoting bounty, I joined after 2017 crypto pumped.
There have some reason by developer to pump it fast for getting many investor or buyer to buying them coin. I was saw some exchange like binance, coin listed and pumped reality and following other exchange, 2017 are different form 2019 
This is not a good time for projects as well as bounty through their promotion. Even the large names are failing to reach the hardcap and 90% of bounty participants are left empty handed. So, it's better to wait for the sentiments of investors to come back towards new projects and their tokens.
Now most new projects want the IEO and this is what will affect many bounty hunters because the marketing strategy of exchange seems to be far more effective than normal marketing. The boom of altcoins was certainly caused by the boom in ICOs. At that time, a lot of investors, even though they are crypto enthusiast or not got involved due to the marketing strategy that was made by the teams and bounty hunters. However it doesn't lasts too long as most of these projects turned out to be a scam; making investors trust to ICOs be broken.
I am very happy with Bounty Campaign, but only if it’s worthy enough. It’s so very tiring and unpleasant for anyone to go for random options. As when we do that it will just trouble us. But if we are part of good and trusted Campaigns, it will automatically put us into right direction and is something that will easily take us far towards gaining. If we don’t do enough research, I don’t think we have the right to really make any comment if we get stuck.
