I think there are lot of ways to promote an ICO, Mostly projects are using some bounty campaigns to promote their projects from social media facebook,twitter, telegram, and bitcoin talk signature campaign also and through blog posting they will be good on google rank so these are the tools of promoting an ico to get the public interest and investors interest also and get good sale.

I think the Ann threads is not enough to spread the news about the ICO and the dev should use another way like using social media, youtube, make the article on another website, or place banner in the big site. I think the dev could use other people to help them to spread the news so more people will know with the ICO. besides that, if there are many ways that used by the dev, I think the ICO will success at that time so the ICO could attract more investor to the project.
I think Signature bounty and ANN thread are the best for promoting.
Actually, the ANN thread in some other languages also should be spread to local forum as well, it may be more effective, for example there are a lot of people in my community, they get to know about cryptocurrency i local forum rather than in bitcointalk. Social media & airdrop are also quite effective.

I think that an ICO can be successful because of what kind of product or services they can provide with their customer and there are different ICO's out there, and what type of thing it can be more successful for the people, and I think Advertisement is really needed with the new ICO's and I think Airdrop is really helpful in making the value pump a bit.

Bounty campaign is the popular way to promote an ICO but i'm not sure is it really effective or not for the project and their ICO especially the signature campaign. Social media like twitter and facebook is also good to promote an ICO, the dev/manager can hire a big followers social media account to promote their ico.
People are really interested today in what ICO are suggesting 'cause they can have nice profits. Best way to promote ICO is to make a good project with working model with clear and reasonable development path. Everything else is about project specs - some of them need wide bounty campaign, some do not.

For me, best promote for ICo is a social media.
But this will be effective for those who have friends from different countries
Social Media is one of the effective ways to to promote an ICO but Bitcointalk forum is more effective because we are all cryptocurrency enthusiasts and not all of us are simply campaign bounty hunters but lots of members in the forum are investors. Before I was just a simply joining signature bounty campaigns but I found out that I couldn't miss an opportunity to invest in a particular coin knowing that the coins are cheap and the project is awesome.
ANN threads are effective for sure. But i am not sure about bounty campaigns. There are so many bounty hunters they open useless social media accounts to get more free tokens. A more professional advertising strategies are a must for icos.
Almost all Cryptocurrencies announcements and bounty campaigns are made in this forum Bitcointalk so their coin will be recognized by Cryptocurrency enthusiasts otherwise they couldn't meet their soft and hard capital.

Need a good announcement of the project, promo posts on large resources (medium, steemit are suitable, only it is necessary to watch that the authors have real subscribers). A good active channel in the telegram (which becomes the norm for projects)

You can try to build a good social grup chat that gives active moderation to the investors and education. Just try to open the announcement thread and if a lot of people are interested in your project and your announcement thread will be crowded. but if they are not interested with it and then your announcement thread there will be no a lot of people are commenting in there.

I agree with this one. ANN thread is an important factor in attracting future investors and crypto-enthusiasts. The more creative it is the more attractive it will be. Just like that 'one' famous ann thread that made use of its style of being 'secretive and mysterious.' It did gain a lot of attention from the bitcointalk community that's why I think ANN really is effective.

Signature bounty is one of the best ways, together with twitter, telegram and facebook bounty. I usually judge a project by the number of members of its social platform.
I think it is best for ICO future if you promote it via bounty campaigns by the help of this forum. I have seen some members having more than 50,000 followers, you can imagine how much it would be helpful for an ICO if shared by such several members. Both the facebook and twitter shares are good.
