I'm defending xiao. How dumb do you have to be to not see that. We are all sorry you guys are broke and need to beg for scraps but continuing to attack someone who is responsible for tens of thousands in rb that players have gotten wouldn't have otherwise gotten is really selfish and childish. Xiao is not Betcoin. Xiao has benefitted the players. Those two things are undeniable. As a result continuing to attack Xiao for what you dont like about Betcoin is just plain wrong. There is a betcoin thread for that. There is a reason every thread here, on twoplustwo, on betcoin by fellow players and on every other forum has resulted in your group of busto crybabies being called mentally ill. Because it is obvious you are. No rational person does what you guys are doing. It will accomlish nothing but waste time and unfairly hard the reputation of someone who doesn't deserve it (Xiao).
Dude, read what I wrote. It's obvious you didn't.
Maybe you're spending too much seeing so many players constantly looking for ways to get free daily shill tickets.
If I were broke I would probably have to kiss Betcoins ass with all the other broke players in Betcoin chat. I'm well aware this whole thing is costing me equity in time + basically killing any chance of Betcoin making good on what they DO owe me (not related to the over raked cash games) - I wouldn't be doing it if I couldn't afford it.
AFAIK Betcoin doesn't even know DarkDays username. If so how could he possibly be begging for money? (I am not sure who he is either)
You guys realize betcoin has said they will issue refunds on a case by case basis right? Also what do you hope to accomplish here with this crap?
I didn't realize that, where/when did they say this? The last I heard was yesterday Jessica said they had actually been working on it the whole time and would have an update at the end of the week or month.
Does this mean they are only going to refund the players who have tracking software, figure it out themselves, and then request it?
That doesn't seem very fair to everyone else.
Also, most of those players will be the same rake concsience players who are getting 100+% rakeback already.
The players they owe are the ones most likely to be clueless they were stolen from at all. In reality, the regs who put in volume will suffer just as if the money were taken directly out of their pocket.
They should just figure out how much they owe each player with the following.
[(Rake Taken)-(Rake that should of been taken)] - [Rake Back Paid] = Refund
Also what do you hope to accomplish here with this crap?
I hope Betcoin tries to prevent this kind of thing in the future. Money ending up in the wrong place is just a reality that comes with online poker - it's their job to actively look out for these times so they can immediately return the money to whoever it belongs to. (Instead of doing nothing for months and then just keeping it bc its most convienient)
I hope other unregulated sites (some of which don't exist yet) are made aware that just because they don't answer to a regulatory third party doesn't mean they can get away with the scummy tactics that Betcoin has been using. I want unregulated online poker to grow and I think Bitcoin makes it a real possibility. Betcoin, however, is doing much more damage than good with their lies theft and lack of transparency.
