Something that we must celebrate so there will be no more victims from this site ( at least from this one because for sure they are creating new site now pretending to be legit)

Just wanted to say I also have legal action in Curacao against Betnomi/Sorsis going on since a few weeks, aiming to receive my owed payment of 914mbtc, and to make sure Basebet will not get their pending license approval. I will make sure that Basebet will never be able to reach a large audience and be able to stiff their customers like they did in Betnomi. If they ever pop up out of their dark shadiness in some public forums, everyone will hear the Betnomi history.
If there is an update I will post it here immediately.

I am not sure about how accurate the "pending license approval" status is. I take a look into their site, they're with GCB, the one-and-only governing body of gambling that replaced the-four-master-licenses-holder and the one that'll be replaced by CGA. Their status seems to be all good, meaning [if I understand correctly how their licensing system works] when CGA is fully operational, basebet will have their license.

Lol... "National Ordnance of the Offshore Games of Hazard"...What a corrupt world we live in.

For anyone wondering how betnomi got a license under their new brand, the answer is simple. Curacao is not a place supportive of people and does not care about history, it's supportive of bankers, casinos, and other rich/elite individuals/groups. You "know someone", you pay them a large amount for a casino license, you get a license. They're all just greedy bankers taking any money from whoever wants to pay it, and have corrupted the gambling board so that it stays this way (or, created that board themselves, since there is barely to no action on gambling injustice cases in Curacao).

I am not creating conspiracy. I've spoken at length with someone who lives there and is a lawyer for several years. This is how it is.

So eventually Betnomi is no more? I see the website is down.

Wasn't it already and for a while now?

Putting the veil of this "refund plan" thread aside, Betnomi has been a scam for a long time now.

According to the information of their telegram channel and Twitter, Basebet has already completed the pre-sale of their token. If it is true, then they have raised decent funds from the pre-sale. Recently, I have seen some casino directory to review Basebet. An article has also been published on CoinMarketCap about Basebet token launch. Sorsis is spending money for the advertising purposes of Basebet. According to Solscan, Basebet marketcap is worth $1.12 million. Scammer Betnomi team is moving forward by keeping their scamming history away.

Keep up the good fight. It's a shame to see two people that I like on the forum to give you those neutral feedbacks. I hope you get your funds back and also that Betnomi/Basebet aren't allowed to operate again. PM me if I can ever help your efforts - I saw them blatantly scam, and this "refund plan" is clearly to allow them to continue operating, not in their good hearts and faith toward customers.

That's a lot of money they owe you, and I'd do my best to get it back. I wish you the best of luck, let us know when something happens.

In the meantime Basebet seems to be working, there is some chat activity. They have their house token, they had a presale... Well, people from this forum will probably stay away from this casino, but there are many others who are not well-informed about their history. Good luck spreading your story and preventing them from scamming other players.

I am in contact with lawyers, who might be interested in this case. Will keep the forum posted. I am using them against another rouge casino, and I am happy with them so far.
Sorry if this is a noob question, but I am curious to know how you are doing to get the persons behind this casino since they never made any public reveal of their true identities, and let me say that I am not sure if they ever made available to the public; an office address that is really identifiable or locatable.

I want to hope that your case against the casino doesn't end up like that of the guys who sued 1xbit, but because the casinos doesn't have a physical office, and the people behind the casino can not be identified, they casino continued to run and there was nothing the court or lawsuit could do to stop the casino.

My guess, since Stayzor pursued the lawsuit path and asked for details about Betnomi's license number, they can ask the court to subpoena the registration office to surrender the details of the person registering Nomi N.V. [if that's not Sorsis himself] and/or other details about Betnomi's official company details that's otherwise kept private and inaccessible for public eyes.

@holydarkness I’m curious on how do you get screenshot of Betnomi license? It’s from the original website right? Tried to access Betnomi website now but it’s not accessible anymore to confirm the details that you provide.

I think @stayzor is looking for exact Betnomi license number maybe for a potential case against this casino for leaving user behind.

Does Curacao license really have a power to punish casino that went rouge?

Hi, does anyone here have proof of the curacao license number betnomi was operating under? Would be very much appriciated.

Betnomi? I'll assume you're talking about their company registration on Curacao instead of their gambling sub-license? That'll be 157643, under Nomi N.V.. If you're looking for Basebet instead of betnomi, that'll be 166632 under Base Online N.V.

No, not exactly from "original" website, but yes, it's from "original" website. It's the archived version of the original, courtesy to waybackmachine.

Small tips: if you're looking about a website that's no longer accessible, or how it looks like few years before, there is a chance waybackmachine automatically crawled them [suppose someone didn't happen to manually archive the website] and have an archived version of them, thus can show you the information you seek that's otherwise no longer available. It helps me from time to time to see what a [scam] website used to be before they're purchased, changed hand, and redesigned to scam the forum.

Ok, I'm officially confused here. Are we talking about "Curacao license" as in master license holder [GC, CEG, Antillephone, CIL] or the registry office?

The extent of the former would [I think] limited to revoking the license of a casino if they're found guilty, of which a legit casino would perceive them as a very severe punishment and will do their best to adhere to the ruling made by the master licensor, but no longer has power over betnomi as they... well, suppose it hadn't already, I believe sorsis won't mind much if his betnomi license get burned and revoked.

The extent of the later will be stronger, though require people to exhaust a more extensive effort as well, through pursuing legal suit, by binding the entities to Curacao Law.

I was in one of those promotions btw, it was years ago but I remember coming 2nd in a Poker contest or tournament and it was with a nice prize for the top placement in that tournament while also being a free entry.
That was a nice bonus for people involved in the poker at the time and I was really not that active on the thread, I dont remember playing the game every week.  I'm just a casual poker player so was super happy to get 2nd as an accomplishment.

I have things going on and never got round to using or collecting my winnings, so I lost that in whatever happened here since then.  Entirely my fault, I just see people mentioning what was promoted and thats the part I remember.

Somebodys dad won, came first out of like a dozen players?  He wasnt expert Vegas pro or anything just a dude with alot of experience to spot the plays I guess.   I hope I've improved a bit since then or at least gained more experience.

People using the site or promoting the site aren't responsible for mistakes made in actual operation of a site.  Once you are an owner or operator then its alot different but promotion is another job given out, advertising is not operation its a service performed etc..   Another not small site I know of just absorbs users balances after a few months, if you are ill, away or distracted then whats yours becomes theres I find that equally bad tbh.  Its in the terms but thats not acceptable imo.

New scam site is up, basebet https://www.basebet.io/ How long before BT users are shilling?
https://uspto.report/company/Sorsis-Chatwin#google_vignette
I don't see the community getting behind these guys again. They were given a second chance on this site and tossed it in the garbage basically spitting in every users face who thought they might be worth giving a chance to. How can anyone actually believe that the new site will be different?

Weren't you promoting them at some point? Zero fallout for the people doing that I noticed, even after defending complaints. We both know if the money's right, at least one person will try.
I did promote them a few years back and at the time they were running like everything was going fine. Noone can tell when a company will or won't scam though. Anyone who is managing a company that turns scam is immediately expected to stop promotion of the company, not like managers tell companies to scam everyone long as they pay us.

I had long left promoting the company before they started doing their shady shit to users.

I went through the betnomi thread where there was multiple legit complaints, which you defended against whilst promoting. Icopress did the same up until they realised it just looked bad. The point is no one really gives a fuck until the money stops. I guarantee basebet will not only be promoted here but successfully.
This will be my last reply on this issue as arguing with you is pretty pointless, but while I was managing their campaign there were scam accusations but how many were true? 90% of the accusations made against companies here are just pissed off users such as you trying to pressure a company into paying. Basically extortion attempts.

Like I said, I stopped promoting them well before any serious allegations came and someone else took over, what happened while they were promoting has nothing to do with me. Your issue isn't with me, so let's keep it that way.

I got my money? I see your appraising of facts is as good as your probability calculations.
