Because they are selective scammers. They didn't harm every user, but only a few percent, so they still have a solid base of satisfied customers. Plus if you remember their signature campaign, there was a large number of those who wanted to participate, regardless of whether they knew it was a scam casino. Imagine how many promoters, and influencers are not interested in their reputation if they pay well for promotion.
For example, I know about a satirical account on Twitter, Trollfootball, they have really funny tweets and a large follower base, but I also saw 1xbet sponsorship on their line.
But still it's really weird and vexing to me that they're still able to operated despite that but then again with selectively scamming people, you can easily just dismiss them as people that are trying to mudsling and destroy your reputation but it didn't work for 1xbit because they got to greedy and they've gone over to how much people they're going to scam, it's for the better that they did though because now, everyone knows their name and it's quickly associated with scammers and scams perpetrated to gamblers that just want to have fun. 1xbit and 1xbet I think is a separate entity because I do believe that there's times that I've seen 1xbet being promoted by some streamers and there's not a lot of issues with them so either it's a separate gambling organization or 1xbit is just scamming people on their crypto side. Good for Betnomi that they've finally solved all their issues afaik, hopefully there's going to be a restoration of trust because this is something that would be difficult to let go.
but why is that many people who is into gambling opening websites mostly casino always to get scam issues,  is that they intentional have the issues or not, because their is something I understand in this gambling websites now, they do be accused and any allegations lend by people to them, their is always be atoms of truth concerning it, so I believe that most of the casino gambling platform do have negative intentions, I did not meet 1xbit and betnomi when they were in existence in the forum, but I have read 1xbit accusations and truely those people are people of scam.

It's still strange to me how 1xbit still works, after so many scams and red flags they still operate... so I guess this will be the same thing,

Scammers will always rob on all, even if not at the same level, sometimes those 1xbits scammers and they affiliate that are still up and running the business will scan and go in Noticed anyways it may be referred to as selective scamming or whatsoever ever but then scam at any level if noticed most be called out, so I can say that 1xbits is still in operation because their are professional scammers and have managed to build some fake public audience that we can't even prove which are real users or bots, because most of those that complain about they scams are all newbies so that speaks alot about the level at which their operates.

I believe that 95% of people from here will not use Basebet casino, but Sorsis will attract some people (mostly new players) outside this forum and he will continue to run a casino like nothing happened.

And can we do anything about it? Probably not... but I am sure it will be interesting when some newbies start complaining.

Still bulshit for me for any kind of (License).

We already seeing so many casino turned into a scam, even they have license.

Yet, the existence of a license adds a layer of security of possible dispute resolution when a player experience a situation with a casino that can not be solved by the forum and/or ADR bodies.

Without license, much like basebet right now, players can only resort to the forum and third party arbitrator, which the casino [judging from their past history] can and will very likely to ignore.

Thus, the presence of a sub-license, bullshit or not, adds a layer of confidence in gambling experience. And likewise, the absence of it should raise big enough concern and caution to proceed with the platform.

IMO, since they put a lot marketing money into (Betnomi)

They're just hoping some of player are migrated to the new site, even they doing the refund. From my perspective the tags should be still on there, perhaps with neutral or other tag to inform their past history.

If this is a fake comeback and its been mentioned that they had a new platform or site. As long they wont really be able to make some clearing up their issues then
it would really be making such huge impact into their new one, so there's no point that they would be leaving hanging on this one because we know that it would really be
making out that kind reflection into their new site.
And it doesn't make any sense to create a new site when they are still going to refund the users from their old site because people might gave them another chance and play on the same site. A true scammer won't ever pay and they will create a new scam platform without informing the public that they are the owner of the other scam platform.

Its inevitable that these issues cant really be known by the public and once known then we do know on whats next.
When you say public, that means a lot of people and for sure there will always be people who are updated and they are aware of what Betnomi have gone through, making them to avoid it. This one of the advantages of being updated because you will know what is happening around and you can save yourself from a lot of threats.

One thing that I noticed when I visited their site yesterday was the lack of licensing authority's seal of validation, so I think they are running without any ~snip~
The license company Base Online N.V. is registered under Curacao commercial register now. Base Online N.V. has established less than a month ago. Their incorporation and establishment date is 18th March. However, they were showing the license information before obtaining it from Curacao. Now they have one, but they haven't added the license validator link.

But I understand that it's just a company registration, a permit by Curacao govt. for them to run a business with a gambling nature. They still don't have e-gaming license, in a sense that they're currently a "rogue" casino, if anyone ever has a dispute with them, their only means of resolution will be with their staff, they can't escalate it to higher authority.

They are cooking another scam plan and putting some recipes in it to attract the future victims Cheesy.
They probably don't even care about their reputation and are still putting so many efforts to creating a new one that looks much like a scam already. No matter how they try to wrap their past, alot of people who know them already recognize them. I only pity for the new victims that may fall for their scam.
From the very first instance I have hard my reservation about the whole situation, and despite being the discussions that trigger up some members anger because we obviously called them out from the very start, and up till now they have proven that we were right all the way, to have noticed that the level of commitment from the ops and how fast they where in marking the thread as resolved and how they accused some others about taking control of the platform speaks volumes to what we can expects.

I took a look at their basebet site and look who`s chatting: Poker coming, greyhound betting coming... lol

Pathetic Sorsis is trying his best along with the rest of his trash team to try and scam as many gamblers as possible and the sad thing is that some oblivious gamblers are already ready to fall prey to their tactics.

Well, are we really going to blame their victims when are are sure it's clearly not their fault for fall victim to such, I mean, those who are going to fall likely don't have a clue of what have happened, and what is happening at the moment, and this is why I talked about how important research is in my previous comment, but then aside that, I think its also best we take it upon ourselves to make sure that as many that need to know, get to know that Basebet(or whatever they've choosen as a name) cannot be trusted, we can do it, and all it takes is spreading the word every where on the internet, we can atleast try our best to prevent as many as possible, from falling victim again to this scam.

Agreed. They clearly don't care about their reputation anymore and are simply following in 1xbit's footsteps. Despicable!
Yeah, not caring about reputation is a normal thing with scammers, most especially, when their online reputation doesn't affect their offline real live reputation, and it actually is painful because, same people doing all these evils online may be respected people in their societies, in their church, family and so on,

This is just another reason why it is very important for people to do some deep research before choosing a casino, in this type of situation right now, only those who take a bit of time to do some deep level research about the new casino will be possibly saved from future scam, how and why? (someone might want to ask), the name of the new casino betnomi is building (I've actually forgotten   Grin) have been mentioned here a couple of times, so, this means that typing that name on search engines and including reviews, may possibly lead the person to thread like this one, where the person will learn that the people behind the new casino had previously launched a casino called betnomi and used it to scam people, so, the possibility that the new casino might end the same way is also high, such people after discovering this may want to stay away from the new casino because it's a timed bomb which can explode at any time.

And again, this also proving that scammer arent really increasing as many of us use to think, they are just recycling themselves, always coming back with another scam after they've been successful with the first, and unfortunately, we appear to be helpless, the only way we can help is stay away, and also advise others to stay away.

It`s unbelievable, you really need to have more than just a little "criminal/scammy" energy to act the way have been acting for years now, and they keep going on like that...

I believe they have their new site up and running. If I can remember the name I'll post it(might be int his thread already), but there is a way to contact them if none of their rep accounts come online in the future.

It's basebet, with Sorsis as the "co-founder", and supposed to be a "test net", but from GekkeBelg's post, they've recently start accepting real money, so they've been fully operational.

The project "BaseBet" is a new project that I co-founded. It will be operating with our existing Casino software and with some upgrades to make it a true web3 platform with a smart contract interface where user funds will be non-custodial and completely under the users' control. That being said, what we have now is a demo, a "test net" of the platform. It is not operational, it does not accept any deposits, nor is any real money gameplay allowed. It is purely for demo and testing purposes as of now.

It will undergo a complete UI/UX redesign and rebrand, and further development work will be done before the official launch, which will take a few months. To summarize, it is not yet an active or a production website.
Ahh yep that's it. Thanks for posting the information for everyone. I don't know if sorsis will answer if anyone sends a support ticket there, but it's worth a shot if you are chasing money.

They are confirmed scammers, that's a fact.
Sending out some small refunds (also to me) is nothing compared to the bigger amounts they still owe.
Their silence and absence from this forum says pretty much everything.

The story about how and why they went offline was ridiculous in the first place and latest now everybody should know this was just another lie, just like this "refund plan" which in their eyes is "solved" now.  Roll Eyes

Dirty people doing dirty things. Hopefully their next scam project will fail. We as a community should do our best to expose these scammers as soon as the new project is running

have they refunded you yet, i saw that they stated that they will refund you soon and told you to check your address sir. or have they only refunded a small portion of your money from your total previous holdings? i would like to ask for your confirmation on this matter.

If they haven't sent or only sent a small amount to you it's quite outrageous and we don't believe their words again, but if only a few people got their funds back and there are still many people who haven't gotten it then maybe they need time to collect funds and return it.

You should do more reading before you dive into this issue. He already received his refund but as he already mentioned, Betnomi already refunded a small balance including him while all the huge balances are still unpaid. They already marked this issue as resolved despite the pending balance and started a new brand of casino without paying other users.

The sad reality is they will not come back anymore to clean their name since they are already operating under a different name.
