The English Refs and VAR are trying so hard to hand over the EPL trophy to LiVarpool to celebrate Klopp farewell. This was by far the worse officiating this season. It was so obvious they didn't try to hide it. Lol   Grin

That's what you get for stealing Lavia Wink just kidding, but seriously, why is everyone still sleeping on Diogo and Toney? Their ownership in this ML hardly went up at all, and they're putting in equal or better shifts than KDB.

This Connor Bradley guy is also a gigachad for 4.0m.

And the Lavia has been sleeping in the hospital since we got him; LiVarpool can have him if it means we have a fair officiated game. Angry

Re:Toney and Jota- It's difficult to get any of them in right now, unless those with WC and for the Connor Bradley Guy don't worry. Chilwell and Badiashile made him look prime Dani Alves I promise you he isn't that special. There was an evident foul on Chilwell on that goal, but VAR turned off the camera. Grin if you want to see how VAR works, watch AFCON.

I'm activating WC next GW I've had enough.

I can't say for sure but I'm certain that at least 50% of everyone that sold Haaland have gotten him back after he was seen in training and was seen during their FA cup clash with Tottenham even if he didn't feature. For KDB, he was the only the transfer I made this week. Brought him in and looks like luck is on my side such that he is on the starting line up.

For GW25, I'll use my free hit chip as I won't garner enough free transfers before that week to make the necessary changes that I'd like to make. Good luck btw.
Why would anyone bring Haaland back before this GW? It was clearly communicated that he will not start and will only get some minutes. He also looked a bit rusty which is understandable but I still plan to bring him in for Alvarez/Watkins.

I want triple City but don't think Alvarez will have the minutes now that both KDB and Haaland are back.

Some managers are risk takers. Risks with luck gets it done sometimes. I have no plans to get Haaland now until gw25 because I'm sure that he would feature on both games that will be played. And yes, I watched Haaland today when he came on for KDB and his teammates kept giving him opportunities but he blew it all. Contrary to what you think about Alvarez, I do think that he would still get some considerate game time in the team. The person that might get reduced playing time is Foden Tbh.

I wasn't expecting De Bruyne to be in the starting eleven this week. I still gave him a place in my squad by taking a risk. I assume that he would be able to last for 60 minutes today. I see Haaland among the substitutes as well. It is nearly time to transfer him for the double gameweek too.

By the way it doesn't look right to me that Haaland's price has become 14.0 million again. I think the game admins are absolutely interfering in the prices directly.

Speaking of which, everyone in his league seems to be doing battle with Haaland vs KDB vs Foden captaincy.

Most of us will take a City player as a captain, yeah.
I went with Alvarez, I expect him to play close to 90 minutes even if Haaland gets his cameo appearance.

KDB almost certainly won't go full 90 minutes and unfortunately I don't have Foden who feels like the best pick for this game.

Yesterday was mediocre for me, it's important just to survive before I wildcard. The next few GW's will be extremely important.

I didn't get Haaland back yet either at least not for the current game week, I'll probably stick to that plan even after this game to be sure he's very fit and Guardiola would not be having him on heavy minutes rotation, it probably takes less than 30 minutes on a good day for Haaland to make his significant mark, so coming off or going to the bench early might not really matter, I just want to be sure he's pretty much okay now and wouldn't be returning to the sidelines after just a game or two.

I am more worried about KDB than Haaland right now tbh.

Salah should be back in England soon right ? and could be up for the game against Arsenal on Sunday right ?

He is injured right now so probably not until GW24/5 at the earliest.

Still didn’t manage to buy E. Haaland, sure we would be seeing him in this GW? I’ll be watching but, his sure to have his return on my team in the weeks to come, I think.

Arsenal team will always find a way to concede in the second half - what a useless team.
Lol… I care very little on Arsenal having to concede, I've got no Raya or any Arsenal defender in my ranks but, they did good for those who had them last GW. Gabriel was just making the rounds and points. It was a hard to believe GW for me, falling below average but this GW seems to start on a good course. Someone I was really looking up to for a goal was Saka and he managed it. So many other attempts from him came with a deflection off target else, some good points would have come off having to captain him.

Friends, I would like to take this opportunity to wish good luck to the participants in our pool in the coming week, and also invite you to take part in one of the BC competitions.

I checked the T&C and it looks like they're going to reward everyone with the correct answers right? No limit, no fastest finger. Or am I missing something? I have more than $5 on my BC account. I have no idea about this teams so I'm gonna follow the bookies odds on this one.  Grin

I need to hold myself back from making transfers for the upcoming 2 weeks. Because I used my Wc very early and wasted my last free transfer right left in my hand to buy KDB. I found a table like this which was prepared by BenCrellin while looking around to get some information about next weeks. I'm sure it would be useful for you.

KDB will play, he doesn't need to start. He'll do more in 30 minutes than most guys do in 300.
In a GW in which we all have a shitload of money (most expensive players are out), not going with KDB looks like a mistake.

But that load of money is needed to buy back Haaland, Salah, Son and TAA. In this mini-league alone about half of the people own Haaland. So not owning him will put you in a grave disadvantage, even if people do not captain him. Same with Salah, and Liverpool seem to be on fire at the moment.

I made the right move financially by transferring Kevin De Bruyne for 10.3 million. However I don't think that he will be a part of the starting eleven at this weekend.

~

Ermmm.. if he is not even confirmed to be in the starting 11 then KDB really is a gamble this week.

Or it could go bust.

Also depends on who else you got as well. Most people SHOULD get Haaland back in their squads ASAP because his EO is so high. Foden is a should-have as well.

However, I can see him becoming almost essential after a few weeks.

Seeing that there is a rule like this I don't understand why they removed Solanke's point 1 week later.

Any news with Haaland? He's back in training, probably still early to risk him though.
I'll keep Alvarez and hope for the best. Probably wildcarding after this GW anyway.

Haaland still isn't fit enough for start, and he's current possible return date is ahead of the midweek fixture against Burnley which he'll like miss in my opinion or be a late cameo since it's a home match for Man City, but regardless he should available fully for next weekend, if the there are no new developments.

If you're wildcarding after this GW then you have nothing to worry about, I'm sure there might be some big names returning to their clubs from both Asia and Africa before the next GW week deadline, so it should be easier to navigate or get necessary replacements.

Why worry for Palmer?

Yep, makes no sense. We all have him, if he scores 100 points or blanks out it won't make a difference.
Nobody will captain him, I'm fairly sure, so we'll all end up at the same place anyway.
