I thought more people would use wildcard at top this week however I was wrong. I guess that I need to preserve my free transfer rights to prepare myself. Because I thought KDB's price would rise after the Newcastle match I transferred him right after the match. Also Manchester City have a double-match week on gw25.

Whoops, forgot to clear me squad out as I initially thought Toffees-Villains would blank (so far so true) but City sitters all scored poorly so I'm happy I got Raya in for Ederson. Palmer no brainer, glad I bought into that hype. Just a tad higher than the average on a squad I wasn't sure in, but plenty left to play for. Don't even need to look at United-Spurs game as I've got no one from either team. United fans celebrating maybe... Regret or smart move? A whole week left to find out, huh?

Palmer is no hype, I'd say he's probably the best bargain buy right for what he provides in relation to how much he cost, If Chelsea were to be a very goal offensively efficient team, he'd sure be top in the FPL points for MD position, he creates way too many chances that get squandered upfront, and the weakness he's got imo is just that he's not very good shooter too, in terms of power and precision especially outside the box.
You can't expect a player that young to have everything. He will only get better with time and his main job should always be creating for strikers. Only problem Chelsea strikers don't know how to finish a chance so now he has to score as well.

So far he has surpassed every expectation I had about him. I thought that transfer was poor for all the parties (Chelsea, City, Palmer) but in the end it was poor just for City. No shame in admitting I was wrong.

Werner right in Spurs squad. Did not expect him this soon but injuries forced manager hand. Richarlison goal will come handy since nobody at the top of our pool has it except for me. Again with strong bench so now I don't mind if some of my players miss the game (Gordon 7, Porro 6, Walker 6) Smiley Was a tactic for this week since there is 7 days before some teams like Arsenal play their game. Higher than usual chance of injuries after deadline.

KDB is one of the best players in the world and personally, the best player in the PL.
Barely ready to play or in full form, he's still the first player on my team.
-snip

easy to decide while Salah is away, but will be a bit harder when he is back, still, will stick with KDB at the moment
Everton and Villa shared points in longest playing top flight derby, and while I have three defenders from these two teams, happy to have scoreless game, although wished three pointer for Everton
wasn't realistic

I'm one of the managers that would be getting him, DeBruyne have just reminded us that he doesn't need 90 minutes to have is finger and footprints all over an entire game. Looks like there is no need to overthink what could happen to Sallah in the next few game weeks whether or not his team gets eliminated in the group stage, there is no reason no to have KDB now, I'd agree too. However, if game week 25 is the only why anyone else wants to get, he would cost just one transfer too, so why sweat over that rn ?

At least wait until the next GW is closer before buying him, who knows who will get injured and will be required to sell.

You may know already who to buy, but if you don't know who to sell then it's like playing FPL blind-folded.

12 points is a lucky haul considering that he did not start the game, but I plan to play him the whole time that he's getting back in top form and I do think he'll bring the points.
Everything in City's team revolves around him when he's on the pitch. When Haaland returns, they will be deadly together.

Only problem, KDB is damn good player and he outscored Alvarez by 10 points today. He needed 20 minutes for 12 points, pure class. And he could have gotten even more if Alvarez scored on his assist.

And I still don't want him until he builds his match fitness which could end up being problematic for me since everyone will buy him after today.

Watching KDB come on today and changing the game with that Goal and assist to help city wrap up another 3 points on the road was more than enough reason for me to get him. I'm sure a lot of people are. His price is about to add +0.1 in the coming week as managers flock in to sign him.

Now that the Double Game week for City has been announced (at gw 25), Getting KDB now might be a risk worth taking if he ends up delivering points in those two fixtures.

He'd be a 1-week punt for me in that case.

The moment he came on and assisted a goal against Huddersfield, I figured it was the best time to sign him before his price spiked and it worked out.

He's still the only game changer type of player in the EPL, and he makes every minute count. I'm beginning to wonder why I didn't captain him. Lol

Why are we still tied on points? It is quite strange what is going on this week.

throwed a coin, and captained Alvarez over KDB
and backfired, DeBruyne is too good to play few minutes and score/assist, while Alvarez didn't do anything

Alvarez is a piece of shit and Badiashile didn't play a single minute against Fulham that's a cleansheet point down the drain.

Yeah, I knew he wasn't going to start, which is why I didn't captain him, but he'll be useful in the next GW and beyond.

nevertheless, Gordon scored as well, so it is not too bad after all
onwards to Sunday matches, hope for a good round nevertheless

KDB from 2 seasons ago would be best option. This is not the same guy. Told you he is not gonna start today. He even said it in his interview that he must take it slow.

Maybe in couple of GWs but at the moment I have no interest in KDB and later Salah and Son will be back.

I have both KDB ( in for Bowen -4) and Alvarez

I'm going to captain Alvarez as Pep may likely throw KBD in for some few minutes.

Palmer continues to make his owners win nice amount of points every week. As of now I'm regretful for not making him the captain. It is a really unlucky night for the players who have Ederson in their squads today. The Brazilian goalkeeper had to leave the game by getting injured in the 8th minute already.

Oh great to know that KDB is already recovered but his price is still over 10. I thought his price would be lowered because he is out for like half of the season. Time to put him back I guess with Salah out of the equation. I got Alvarez captained as well, not really the best choice considering that they are playing against Newcastle but if he can score atleast 1 goal than that would be enough for decent double points

There is no better choice at the moment- Son and Salah are unavailable, Bowen is injured, all of Manchester United's midfielders are garbage, Arsenal's midfielders are underperforming, and Liverpool's midfield is a collection of mids. KDB at £10m is still a steal in my opinion. He'll be up and running in no time.

Price is influenced just by transfers in or transfers out. KDB price was never going down a lot since he was never really popular this season. If he was 70% owned before the injury we would have seen a lot of price drops.

At 9.8% ownership at the moment, pretty low.

Haaland looks like a certainty (if finally fit), and most of us will probably rotate between Alvarez, Foden and KDB.

A switch or double from Man City is very probable move given the trend and performance ahead of that game week, the only certain one is Haaland, as you said, "If fit!". Because Guardiola could switch to his trend of benching Foden (as he did past the half of last, for no understandable reason) and should KDB be firing on all cylinders, it could happen sooner than later, but I'm leaning more towards getting a defender from City too, the rotation policy is just rather too much and none of their defenders have been of great attacking return, along with the fact that keeping a clean sheet seem to be new rocket science.

Brentford's got Liverpool and City in that GW, so I won't be picking any of their players. Most of us are already on 3 City players, so I don't think I'll even need to use a free hit for that round.
Toney was good last season, but he isn't match fit - for me it's not the time to put him into my team.

KDB should have the no brainer replacement for Sallah straightaway but biggest concern is Guardiola, how well he would use KDB consistently after such a long layoff, we know how much of a roulette player Guardiola, I don't mind missing out one week haul of KDB to be sure that Guardiola wouldn't be having off and on, so I'll stick to keeping Foden + Alvarez as my City duo for now.

Hey guys, what are your plans for the double game week on GW25? The second double game week of the season  has just been announced and Man city will play out their outstanding match with Brentford.

Personally, I'm thinking of bringing in City + Brentford players into my team prior to that game week. If I'm unable to garner enough free transfers to bring in those players, I'll just make use of my free hit. It seem like the perfect opportunity.

I'm curious to hear your thoughts  Smiley

Toney + Haaland + Foden + KDB I guess?

Now a whole lot of brentford attacking options to choose from.

Ivan Toney surely is a player to consider, I would have made a room for him on team, If hadn't hop on the Jarred Bowen bandwagon, Brentford have a tough series of fixtures going forward but Toney remains their biggest goal threat, especially with both Mbeumo and Wissa out, there is literally no one else to lookout for in the Brentford team, the only reason for concern could be his price at 7.9m
