I read some news like Solanke got injured. This is quite bad news for me. He couldn't play in the FA Cup match last night as well. When it comes to the FA Cup KDB played for 90 minutes last night. I still don't understand why Pep doesn't give him a chance in the league. By the way no matter what I'm thinking of using a free hit on gw29.

And yet if you keep injured people like Solanke, Estu, TAA, Salah in your squad all season along with people like Alvarez, Watkins, Salah, Son, Foden, Gabriel, Saliba, and Pickford, you can actually have a pretty sick rank in the top 10K and floor this ML. (note: No Haaland)

It is a crazy stat I saw in r/fantasyPL more than once.

I have to say, people who madly sell and buy players every week in FPL are kinda like bald frauds.

So I will keep Solanke even though I know he blanks in GW29.

Should not have used my free hit so early...

You are forgetting their opponents have to be out of the FA cup as well  Grin

Shit hahah, my intelligence is hitting an ATL here Grin
I'll learn so much in this season, in the next one I'll wipe your asses for real.

I assemble fantasy team every season, but have never actually played properly. I have to admit I'm having a ton of fun with it.

I went for Saka and Son - they are out of the FA cup so no way they are blanking I guess.

Spurs play Fulham so you are ok there, but Arsenal plays Chelsea meaning you are hoping Chelsea looses to Leeds tonight.

I have 3 Arsenal so that game is actually the decider if I am free hitting GW29 or not.

Why the early transfers guys? Most teams have FA cup fixture on Tuesday or Wednesday. After those we will know who will blank in GW29 and who will double in 34.

This is why you are leading I guess. Didn't even consider that we'll have blanks in W29.
Anyway - I'm fed up with City assets so I'll get rid of them anyway. I feel there's way more value elsewhere, that's why I replaced them early.

Speaking of rules and what permutations need be considered @Trofo @Icopress, who won the GW26? I bagged it right?  Grin
Will double check when I get home and make it official. Have all the bookmarks there. All free bets are paid on Monday so I am a bit lazy to pronounce in GWs where we have games mid week. When we have end on Sunday I make sure to do it immediately so free bet is not late because of me.

KDB and Haaland show at it's best. Why couldn't they do that in DGW? To be fair Luton played terrible defence yesterday. City could have scored way more and some goals Haaland scored should have been easy job for the keeper.

Fuck you Haaland, i play the freehit when you play against Luton for Premeir LEague and you do nothing, and now for FA you score 5!!!!!! goals, incredible.

Halaad at this point is a risky asset to own especially that he hasn't got his confidence back in the EPL and this is usually what happens after a player gets a knock...but with that 5 goals on his tab, it will be interesting to see how the next games go, and Manchester United are next in line and I fear for them for what's to come Roll Eyes
You see what the combo of KDB and E. Haaland has done in this FA fixtures, same EPL clubs and you wonder what’s the hold up in the EPL. Why aren’t we seeing the same aggression and not just a dominant performance but one that is full of Manchester City’s goal scoring ability.
The injury of KDB that kept him off the pitch through more than half of the season might have made Pep to be playing really safe, having him come off the bench but, we need to be seeing these two on the starting line up more often for great games from Manchester City. Pep doesn’t have to be bringing him in as finisher or a helper when the team needs that break but, have him create the breaks and leave the pitch early enough to rest. It might be a prey on the already exhausted opposition strategy but, just look at the score line with Luton, goal scorer and who is producing the assist.

It’s just awful that, he @Haaland wasted my captaincy for 2 consecutive GWs, even a DGW by not netting above a goal and here he is with all the goals you could possibly ask for in 3 GWs.
I wouldn’t even trust him when they face off Manchester United, it’s still a risky game but, with his recent count on goal and the fact that Manchester City would be playing from a home side, I’ll like to believe they would improve on there EPL goal scoring.

Bowen stole the show yesterday, really did not expect West H to win that easy.
I brought in Neto with hopes that he would create something with Wolves but, nothing. Even the infamous Hee Chan that was almost a favorite for the GW when looking out for a player from Wolves.
Good enough I had Bowen to compensate on all my hopes.

Thanks for your response man. Although I was asking in the context of the weekly prize if the negative points deduction gets factored in but it doesn't matter anymore now that Bowen has handed @SmartVirus (congrats, btw Wink) the boost he needed to get weekly prize thanks to that hattrick.
It is the same for weekly prize. Quoted from OP

Btw, I think missing  out on best points using the freehit is better than missing out on maximising on getting more points after many team managers  used the triple captain which didn't get the best results..but the next games will be interesting for this lad.

I'm very sad to drop down to 4th place because of collecting very few points on the last two gw. Transferring KDB early cost me very much.
Some place I would rather wish to be, lol…

I already felt I had made a bad bad mistake with Watkins. Couldn’t stop beating myself after the Manchester City game where E. Haaland couldn’t get a goal. I literally had to do a H2H check on Manchester City games and Bournemouth to see what past fixtures had been like and it was filled with goals. This prompt me to switch my captaincy choice from Watkins to Haaland and he could score a single goal. Felt really bad but,

Jarrod Bowen did me good this time, a hat trick to push me to the top, that’s more than I would have hoped for. Need to break the top 10 once more.

QQ for Trofo: If someone makes transfers with points, does it count towards weekly prize for that GW?

Yeah, points hits get deducted from your points for that specific game week not your already accrued total points.

If there's ever a good time to get breach the gap with differential, tonight was the night with Bowen as his ownership % dried up after a run of tiny returns.

This week, I'm planning to drop some of my City players. Last week, I had one of the lowest returns from City assets and I think it's time to diversify.

Man, I was a hair's length from restoring Bowen into my squad, but opted to save 2 points -- then he goes and does a brace within 8 minutes. Then again, it's not like I'm chasing down any other spots, so not sure why I feel bad about it.

Edit: Hattrick. Takes FPL flail and self-flagellates...

I'm keeping KdB though, spent enough to bring him on, and I know he's not 100% but he doesn't really need to be. Bonus? If City and him keep stumbling, I win elsewhere. How's that for a hedge, universe?

Besides Walker also started to be benched despite playing for 90 minutes in every match until I transferred him. This was also a bad surprise for me.

One of the worst weeks to move early, even if it means loosing on price. I am not even gonna look at my team before Thursday to avoid temptation.

I totally agree!

I'm not making any early move, except on someone I sure know doesn't have a blank week 29, and I'm still not moving on him yet either way, I'll probably be playing week 29 with around 5-7 players only, hopefully it will be an heavy blank with just a very few teams playing.

City has a rough run of games coming up, and now with all of them available it will be a cointoss who will play.
Makes sense, Next 5 set of EPL games for MCI will be tough for them.

Home game against Manchester United - Manchester United can put up a fight, Away game to Liverpool, Away game to Brighton -
Home game to Arsenal - If KDB is still fit, he will start in this game because Arsenal is one of his favorite teams to bully, then a Home game to Aston Villa.

but Foden is the last player I'd replace from that list if I were, going by his current form and I don't think he has the most ownership of the 3 mentioned players, if you are speaking of differential, but I could be wrong about the ownership numbersas I didn't check, and it was all just a guess.
Foden is the most consistent performer for Manchester City this season, If there is any player asides Rodri who will be chosen by Pep for all the games, it will be the number 47 Foden. Pep will not want to risk KDB to another injury.

Next transfer I'm gonna replace Alvarez as well, I'm going with 0 City players in the next 5 games.

I'm doing some illogical moves, but that's the only way to try and catch some differentials at this point. 8th or 35th - it's all the same.

I was hoping for that Arsenal cleansheet yesterday. I don't know why they had to lose focus for a bit and concede that 1 goal especially when I was this close to getting top points in a GW only to watch them concede that goal.

In other news, After 3 good GW, I've finally broken back to top 20. The last time I was on top 20 was in GW2. Feels really good.
