Whoops. I knew I forgot something really, really critical after internationals haha... 4 injured players in my team, I had no chance but only myself to blame. Too excited about City game, too busy with real life. Excuses, excuses.

I'll need to move out these injuries at a cut I think. Some seem really serious. Sigh.

I'll be playing with lesser number of players, my team is just shit after every 2 weeks, no matter how much I set it up, with injuries flying here and there, I always end up with at least one or two players out injured, this time around it's literally ~4 players out, the only positive thing from my game week is that at least Saka as my captain got a couple of points with that late assist, and hopefully a few bonus points would follow suit.

I read later on that he was supposed to play instead of Alvarez and then got some stomach flu and was considered too sick too play. In other words got stuck on the shitter in the last moments

Why don't you make some transfers and remove all those injured players? Estupinan and Stones must go, -4 for transfers isn't that bad if you need to make a change in situations like this. I went even -12 almost every season when squad needed that mini wildcard. Good thing with all those injuries you will at least get 5 points from Semenyo.

I play with 3 defenders and 3 out of 5 I've got are injured. White is on the bench, I hoped at least he'd be playing.
That means I play with 10 again - the same as last round.

Not sure what the points average is this round, but I'm surely gonna be well below it. Would need a miracle from Son and Watkins to finish otherwise.

I just hope changing my captaincy from Son to Halaand and from Halaand to Salah at the end won't hurt my rank.

Alison downgrade is not talked about much he's been nothing but a weak link for both Liverpool and Brazil.

Fortunately I did not see the "news". For totally unrelated reasons I had a small PTSD from benching Tsimikas last week that I almost played him + Trippier and benched Alvarez, but I managed to hold on to my nerves and leave Alvarez alone.

So back to the bench Tsimi goes.

@Trofo I heard that Grealish is sick today. Must be why he's not here.

Still in my team team, I just had an extremely strange dream that I can't tell my partner about because it sounds ridiculous to me as well. I had a dream about Doku scoring a wonderful goal, then I came on this thread lamenting how I sold him before the deadline.

Great, he is still in my first 11. Don't really have the bench to cover this week. Now he just needs to do something big and maybe there is hope for solid result this week

Left him in since even if he wasn't starting he would have played at least 30 minutes in second half. Now that I look at City bench, there is actually nobody there to cover attack. What happened to Grealish? City missing a lot of mids and Silva playing CM, so everybody else is playing on their positions.

This must be the worst bench City fielded in last couple of years

Get a better source next time! Alvarez starts!! 

I saw the news as well, but my source told me otherwise and gave me some confidence.

Too late to do something about it but news broke 1 minute before the deadline that Alvarez is not playing.

This will be a very though week for my team, Alvarez probably benched. Lot of my players playing against each other, most defenders having though fixtures, Bowen injury doubt and he would have been my captain.... This is your week to catch up with me. From next week onward I should be well set

I purposely left squad like this and brought in Mbuemo to be better prepared for what is coming. This week would have loved to have Eze but simply no place to put him in my team and did not want to take him instead Mbuemo and then having to switch later on.

Just what I would have liked to see. Over the GW12 and international break, a lot of players has been flagged with injury although of late, very few have come up with missing games like the likes of Kabore of which isn’t a team player for most of us and Mitoma, well his not been at his best lately.

Bowen has been seen in training but, I’m having complicated thoughts on who’s the best option here.
Bowen would be playing against Burnley, a defensive side who I hope would be capitalizing on counter attack to make their points in the game and with Bowen having some minor knee injury that has passed through scan, am I supposed to expect the best of him in this game to keep him? Or should I be looking towards getting,
Alvarez off my bench to substitute for Bowen. Manchester City will be facing Liverpool in the early kick off and we expect a difficult game but with both being good scoring sides, there might be goals from those who’ve got good sight of it, Alvarez have got that, could produce some assists as well but, his hardly the focus of the team in this game, what he could do, we would see Bernardo Silva, Foden and Doku, could attempt it too.

Will it be a good choice having Alvarez on the bench as against Bowen or perhaps both of them would be better featured and then Solanke gets to hit the bench…

Bowen was seen in full training, and based on what Moyes said about him, I'm convinced he'll start tomorrow. If you have him, don't sell, and if you don't, don't buy.

Mitoma has been ruled out of tomorrow's game; feel terrible for the youngster, who hasn't been himself this season.

Halaand is back to full training as expected

Re Ramsdale - Raya will probably be in goal even after Ramsdale wins MOTM. Ramsdale started well, but Raya's more of the 'sweeper-keeper' Arsenal wants to play with.

Agree on Bowen - I am keeping both him and White. I feel both will play.

Raya isn't suspended he can't play against his club, Brentford

That is just the thing that somehow always happens in FPL.

My best mid for this week was Bowen and of course he is injury concern. Give me some news damn, be good or bad just so I know what to do.

And Coufal will still probably outscore Trippier in the next 5 games.

Agreed on Areola though, but he's a reserve keeper anyway. He'll be in goal this round because Raya's suspended.

White should be ready for Arsenal match, but he is assigned as 75% chance to play, and I keep Botman injured for too long

last round brought Mitoma for Ward-Prowse, he had two assist, and Mitoma is now injured after bad game week
what to say for my moves, it is just making it from bad to worse

I have Areola, who shites me most of the time, but my major argument is to sell Trippier and bolster the midfield or attack till things improve for Newcastle United.

West Ham is one of the worst defenses of the league. Trust me I have Areola and I am quite pissed at myself for getting him. He will be out as soon as I have a transfer to use.

Regarding those viable options I can tell you why not for every single one of them if you insists, write them in the post and I will pass trough them and comment. Only viable options for me when I can take into account everything are Arsenal defenders so leave them out. All the rest are bad options now, and I will rather not spend transfers in vain effort to chase a least bad one. And if Trippier hauls in just one of the next 5 games, he will outscore most of them if not all. Fixtures are bad for Newcastle and they have problems with injuries, I am not arguing that. I am simply saying there isn't a defender out there I want enough to use a transfer on him.

I provided you some suitable options, but you choose to ignore them out of self-interest? What about your brother, Cryptofka? I'm sure you'd be OK without Trippier in the upcoming game round I don't have him, but my prediction was only a realistic one.

Examining Westham fixtures Zouma is a viable choice.
