Its safer yes since btc is now well established but looking at experienced traders, iit would tell us that its possible to make money pretty consistently with altcoins. Im not putting one over the other as i have investments in both but if you're agressive type, btc would take longer time.

Speaking or talking about the duration on profit making i can say that bitcoin would really takes longer compared on altcoins in the market but this one would really be good for long term. You can have both if you do really have the money to put in but for me i would being more focused on putting on bitcoin and some on alts at the same time. Having both things would really much better for me.

For long term Bitcoin still the best investment because the usage implementation is very widely spread and a lot of users is using it every day, alt coin is not really suitable for long term only a few like eth or waves maybe can be used for long term but most of them are for short term

yes that is right that bitcoin investment is the best investment in present time. because the price of bitcoin is still trading in a reasonable price and it is expected that the price of bitcoin will very soon cross 4000$ in next few weeks. to me i personally holding bitcoin for long term. because long term investment is more safe and profitable investment as compare to short term investment.

to me i think still there are some good potential altcoins whose prices are always expected to raise high. but it think bitcoin is such kind of currency where we can always expect that its price will increase too much in future. therefore my first choice will always be bitcoin, and i mostly invest my money in bitcoin, and bitcoin will remain as number one currency of the world.

You have a point but for me the better decision we been made for the mean time is to choose altcoins and used it to different sites as investment.

Because bitcoin now was in demand to the market so their price was too much high and investment to bitcoin for now was too much risky, due to unpredictable fluctuation of bitcoin now in the market.

I think some altcoins will be a better deal right now if you can find a highly rated coin for a good price.
