With the transition form https://www.e-coin.io/ to https://wirexapp.com/ we are experiencing some temporary issues. Over the next few weeks we will have low limits on card loads for the weekends, so if your wanting to load your card with a large amount over $500 we would advice during the weekdays. As we are moving all accounts over we now ask that all users generate and use new bitcoin deposit addresses.  Our support chat was disabled for a few days during the transition, so some who submitted support tickets during a 2 day stretch our support team did not receive them so we ask if you could re-submit your support tickets if we did not respond.

You can read more in our blog here.
https://blog.e-coin.io/wirex-announcement-account-holders-please-create-new-deposit-addresses-for-your-e-coin-account-92c0e97a726b#.nvnhh9h4f

We apologise for recent issues with our service. Issues are temporary as we continue to add features and move to the most versatile application available in bitcoin.

Can't get a BTC address to deposit to. I click on View Address then it changes to 'Generating' for about a minute before going back to View Address.

Same here.

Working again (for now) be quick!

Am I able to load up my card with PayPal or credit card? Or do I have to use SEPA? Because I can't use SEPA Sad

Also, do you provide an AUD card?
If your looking for a AUD bitcoin debit card you can't beat the Coinjar swipe card in my opinion.
I have been using mine for over 6 months now without any problems at all.

You do have to transfer bitcoins from your Coinjar wallet to the card but the whole process including approval takes no more than 2min, sometime it is instant.

If you have virtual Visa - then yes. (And if the PayPal account in your country supports our cards).

(this article also contains info how to buy bitcoins, but it is pretty detailed about PayPal part).

At the moment we do not have AUD card. We are working on adding new currencies after the rebranding.

Hello Alena, I've sent you a message about verifying my new e-coin account (got it to buy a virtual card). If it's not too much, please let me know if the docs I sent are good.

I transferred btc to my debitcard two days ago and support told me it is fixed, it is not and still no money on my debitcard and cannot see balance anywhere.

Hope they fix it soon  Huh

If you have not received your bitcoin please email [email protected] and they will fix your account. As we are moving from e-coin.io to wirexapp.com we have experienced some technical issues, but do not worry your bitcoin is safe.

Sounds like everybody wins.

Like I said before, I bet these guys can't wait to expand, hire a call center and laugh as the dough starts pouring in.

I bet it'll be hard for the initial developers to let it go into somebody else's control though.  Tons of nuances here and there that would be hard to trust anyone but themselves to manage.

I can only imagine how much fun their tech. support is having right now.  I think, given the lack of manpower they are working with, they're doing a way better job than they are getting credit for.

Ease up, exercise patience and don't panic.  What good will that do?

I´m interested in this. Could I use it for shopping and withdrawing from ATMs in Iceland, where I live?

Thank you.

You can use it everywhere where MasterCard sign is displayed.

Sounds good. And it works well? What are the users reporting? I don´t really have time to read this whole thread.
