I like it. Something make me think it's gonna reach Bitcoin cash levels soon

I have started playing around with sending transactions. In one case, a transaction was accepted but never confirms. If I try to submit it again, I get duplicate transaction error, so I know it is in the mempool.

I also have a HODL test transaction that is being refused by the network, which means something is broken in the mining code.

My Bitcoin Cash stuff all works okay. So with BTG being broken and BCH not broken, I would bet on BCH.

The devs of Bitcoin Gold definitely need to get hat sorted out and to work even harder on their coin, otherwhise it can't compete with the reallly big and successfull cryptos. Currently, it's only the name that keeps BTG Gold over water and maybe the mining with GPUs

It doesn't make a change for me. Bitcoin shouldn't be mined with GUP type equipments and anything that makes this possible is considered as a standard altcoin. By using name bitcoin, they only aim to fool people.

What's everyone's predicted growth of BTG over this year? I think this is my new favorite coin. Bitcoin + Equihash = Win.

Hello,

Does anybody know which wallets plan to support the Bitcoin Gold (BTG) friendly fork on October 1st? And what, if anything, should be done by the user?

As far as I am concerned Bitcoin.com support Bitcoin Gold (or was it Bitcoin Cash), I can't remember. There are so many forks nowadays...

Bitcoin.com is owned by the felon behind Bitcoin Cash.

So I made the mistake of sending some BTG to my local BTG wallet. Unfortunately, the gargantuan blockchain will probably never sync. I haven't been able to find any trustworthy online wallets. Is there any way I can get my BTG out of the local wallet without waiting 17 months for it to sync?

If you're lucky there might be an electrum version released before you finish syncing. If that happens then all you would have to do is import privkey. As for now goes??? Good luck.

I completely wiped the data and restarted the sync. It's working better now. Beforehand, I was trying to sync both BTG and Omni-core, as well as mining on the same machine. Apparently these wallet programs are like girlfriends, and they don't want to share or for there to be any other priorities.

I created a locktime test transaction that becomes valid on Dec 12, 2017 but the network won't accept the transaction, it was signed using BTG signing tools. Here is the tx:

01000000013a65895726ea6981d3a5e133657f2b11367f3cf3af239863b8028e8f67943fb400000 00074483045022100bd5ba9fe3c14cefd69819155a837133d44fd69f45d2c6900a6964580a91755 2c022019b59e7fbb2650b806f0549d636893bdc0fa31c70fb004f6dd54477b02194141412a04a0a 82f5ab175210246bc43a3c7d2401c181b29346d81c8abfdacc9e8bb53d870b7df7ca0116fe0c9ac ffffffff0100350c00000000001976a914bc2457b821457a320150b4603c41aa9a04591a5b88ac0 0000000

It validates ok, but when I try to push the tx, it says that it locktime requirement not satisfied yet even though the time was reached 2 weeks ago.

I do not believe in this project. It seems to me that this coin will not last long. Most likely in a few months everyone will forget about its existence. This project is designed to ensure that its developers have earned money

Same applies to you. Who cares you don't care?
You expect only BTG glorifying posts here? Cmon, this is public forum where anyone can share his opinion.

BTG is a complete scam and does not deserve to be of 5. place before Dash, Litecoin, Neo and many other. This is crazy thing, who is buying those shit coins?

lol,

same people that once betted on bitcoin instad of established communal currencies,

then the banksters started showing their hatred for bitcoin, and today bitcoin pyramid shows their hatred for nonbitcoin currencies.

i hope they will one day collapse with their pyramid

I still prefer bitcoin anyway. Those bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold are just fakes that delays the growth of bitcoin. But because of those two, we can see that there are still strong supporters of bitcoin. And it is a good thing to know.

Who care's what you prefer. This is the wrong thread for you to be posting on. If you like BTC then go post there and leave us BTG alone.

I don't like BTG and BCH because they are chinese products. Why people let some group of people control us ? It's not the meaning of Cryptocurrency

its all about mass meda propagation,

no cryptosystems are also pyramid systems,

those that made those currencies are the new capitalists.
