I remember seeing a topic here at Bitcointalk a few years back saying that a school (probably University) will open a Bitcoin course. I don't really pay much attention to it because the school mentioned is far away from my country (and I am not interested to learn just about Bitcoin).

I foreseen that in the future, when Bitcoin become more mature and reach a large amount of populations, crypto related courses will see a huge increase of intakes yearly. To add on, there will be courses that focuses on cryptocurrencies in general.

Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.

what about introducing a new subject in school called "cryptocurrency, or Btcoin and crypto" or something, to educate people about this new technology that is conquer the world? i think this is a good solution, for the nex generations, so they will learn how this work, i think this can be integrated under programming

It would be natural to include the subject about cryptocurrencies in curriculum but this is done very rare or not at all because usualy education doesn't follow trends, especialy not in this area. This should be included in financial education and partialy in IT education. But at the moment we are very far from it.

Bitcoin is not made for gain study. Bitcoin is a currency and it name is crypto.
But if you and other people have no knowledge about bitcoin or other crypto currencies, then we have a lot of ways to study about it and that is online on YouTube videos will help you. Because i also know about bitcoin from different videos.

cryptography is studied in various institutions around the world

You need to have good computer security skills first, then you can look online for courses that teach cryptography. These are a few useful resources, I hope they help :

Bitcoin may not have found a place in educational books yet but going by the increase in the number of people who joined bitcoin in the past few months, bitcoin might and should be included in college studies soon for the future generation of bitcoin to be well versed and more learned in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies than we ourselves are. But yes at present even I haven't come across any such news where any university or school made it a part of their curriculum.

In my country there is also a kind of training for those who want to earn money from the internet. They are given bimbingam about 2 months of training .. so that later after graduation can earn a large income from the internet. I really agree with this way. It should be possible that such a thing can be applied in school institutions. As initial capital so they can make money

It would be great if that happened. If btc was taught at school I would definitely enroll. That will be where newbie accounts can learn more about btc and can create business plans for themselves.

All need a college name to be able to do that can be done, but at least learn in order to manage the currency from bitcoin.

I think there is not any college that teaches bitcoin, it's not really popular yet so people know about it. It is not necessary for the present life. If you want to set up a school to train your bitcoin knowledge, we need bitcoin to become real money.

Bitcoin has not even been legalized still in our country.I heard that just now, colleges in some european countries have started to add bitcoin as a subject in their studies. Its a new technology which has created a revolution in the world economy. We may expect soon bitcoin to be added as an important lesson in universities all over the world.

Yes that's true it's not legalized in every country but in whichever country it has been i will talk about them.
You can only use bitcoin as trading and buying stuff online in both the cases the amount equal to the product's value will be asked for you to pay in bitcoins.
I don't think it is good for the people who get worried after the price of currency they are holding now.

I think the introduction of the courses will be a wonderful impetus for increasing investment literacy. This will help many people learn to use crypto-currencies and avoid unnecessary losses.

Learning how to code for the blockchain is definitely a potential career enhancer - not sure that you can do it at college yet unfortunately, may just need to self train.

Same bro im computer engineering but we don't have any related subject to bitcoins. But in the future if they legalized this currency they will add some subject in creating bitcoins or earning it

Are you sure they will create a course of "Creating Bitcoins"   Grin Grin  I never heard if there is any college which teaches on "Creating  US Dollars" .  Thats simply impossible.  Bitcoin is a currency which can be included in finance subjects but it cant become a full fledged subject itself.

In my opinion bitcoin is not a knowledge that can be learned in school. Bitcoin exists because we need it, we search for bitcoin information like on the internet and our friends. So for me bitcoin can be learned when we have a desire for this. No need to force the study of bitcoin because the desire will come alone.

Well just because it is in formal education does not mean it is forced. alternatively, if bitcoin and blockchain is taught in schools it would add a widespread level of awareness but the real question is are these currencies ready for that yet.

Oh yes, my school has started a subject about blockchain, bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. It is available for the business and IT degree, I guess many people will benefit from it. Of course, I signed up and find it very interesting.

That's great to hear. I would think more universities will start doing the same in the coming months, and in fact it might effect the speed at which legislation is introduced on the matter. Exciting.

I think there are many resources to learn about this area of development mostly online these days.

That is the best way to learn it, rather than a major in it. Especially because it evolves too quickly for a curriculum to keep up. A textbook written even just a year ago would not be of much help, in current day cryptoland.

Be happy with what you have learned, because in my country even people who are into the IT industry is not aware about the digital currency and the way the technology is functioning in an effective manner. By the years to come more institutions will come up with plans of generating courses to educate about bitcoin.
