It will be your choice if you want to adopt it.
Make your own project about the crypto currencies and make your own hypothesis.
But up until now they wont be inserting it in curriculum.
It is not that large yet for them to be making that huge decision.

Oh yes, my school has started a subject about blockchain, bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. It is available for the business and IT degree, I guess many people will benefit from it. Of course, I signed up and find it very interesting.

Bitcoin in college? What for? Whether to make students and college students benefit from bitcoin? Can it be their little pocket money given to parents?

It seems that can not and can not bitcoin change the life of others.

It is completely possible to have a course of crypto related stuff. One of the student has publish his work on "blockchain technology". He was also user of this forum and was here to grab the information about the blockchain tech so that he can put into his thesis. If I see his thread around the I will outpost it here. But the courses can be implemented for sure as learning has no boundaries at all.

Putting btc into education is really great. But perhaps this will not happen until btc is accepted around the world and becomes a global currency.and it's not easy to achieve in a month or two, that we need to wait for a long time. once the btc is put to in education,  using btc in all the daily services will be done in an easy way. And specially, btc will become a investing method which is popular in over  the world.

In my country bitcoin has not been legalized yet, nor does the government prohibit the trade of bitcoin. There are some courses offered by individuals or some small organization to teach Bitcoin, some of which will be chargeable and some will be free. People in my country are still quite backward and they are very lazy in finding information and learning on google. The media in my country have been warning of bitcoin as a threat to investors but every day they are bringing news related to it.

Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.
On my country the college are still not adopt behind technology of bitcoins or use bitcoins for payment on there, however bitcoins is still new in the world needs time to learn about the bitcoins, if bitcoins be adopted in educating new generations it is good for to makes great generations because they know about new technology in the internet, unfortunately it will not be easy.

I think some of the crypto project developers and advisers have made some study about cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and bitcoin itself. These are mostly masters thesis or dissertations. During my time, this bitcoin phenomenon is not that widespread yet and so there was no mention of it in class.

Because it's not that popular. What i mean to say, its not a global currency. Also many countries banned and never use this kind of technology. But we hope they subject this on every technolgy subjects. So student will educate about the importance of digital currencies or cryptocurrencies. Anyway, it's a good subject for thesis since few people knows this technology. Also you can still introduce crypto even in a small ways. Friends, classmates or anyone that will catch their interest.

I would bring up Bitcoin and crypto economies in my 4th year economics class and the teachers are usually so old school that discuss topics of this nature goes beyond the love for economics because of the societal and philosophical differences between old and new economies.  I was telling my Finance teacher about ethereum when it was $3 and he just wouldn't listen cause he has FB stocks. ha.

Yes, I think like btc or altcoin should be included in the course especially for economics majors, because as we know that bitcoin or altcoin is already used for investments and large-scale transactions.

I think this is a great idea, but we do not have such plans yet, since bitcoin has not been legalized yet. Such courses will help to learn the basics of literacy in investments and people will be able to improve their financial situation.
well I am personally very excited to see that bitcoin is being very famous all around the world in each and every field and this is really a good idea through this students will learn business and will learn trading, and the benefit of the bitcoin currency how to earn good income and they will learn how to exchange bitcoin to fiat currency and now many students are interested in bitcoin now they can earn money while studying.

i think when bitcoin will be legalize, it will be added to some business or in some economics class. it is good to study the science behind it, it is good to study the theory and how does really bitcoin and other coins circulated , for me if it has a course about it, i will take it because i believe that bitcoin is the new generation of money and investment.

Except all the basic economic theories regarding currency is already taught in college level economics and I don't see why such theory wouldn't apply to bitcoin. There is nothing special about the economics of bitcoin vs that of fiat or gold back currencies that is already taught.

No need to wait for government regulations we can still provide understanding to beginners, currently still not legal but not a reason to disrupt the bitcoin development on a large scale. I waited for news about the enactment of bitcoin into the curriculum from three years ago, but still no progress so I decided to open a private course.

It sounds like a good idea to apply in the course. But in the country I still can not to do that because bitcoin has not been too popular in the community. Bitcoin is only used by some. If only bitcoin is in general use in my country and the legality of bitcoin is acknowledged. Maybe the idea that you said might happen in my country. It may be time to make it. For now still in teaching about how to get money from the internet. But not through bitcoin .. maybe we can add bitcoin to it
