I think Japan is very popular with bitcoin
You can see bitcoin payments in many stores,I don't doubt that Japan will use bitcoin in the future as an important means of payment

There's nothing like that in my country. Even, there are only some people here who knows about bitcoin. And to make it possible to have course about it and something, we first need to make people take interest in it, and maybe legalized by the goverment?
But if there's education about it, it may be good too. Although we still can learn by ourselves without needing to take course or something. I bet internet already provides us enough information to learn

I have seen various online courses about the place, there are a few in Udemy which is a pretty good self paced learning environment, they have the occasional massive discount on the course prices bringing them right down to £10 / $10 https://www.udemy.com/courses/search/?q=bitcoin&src=ukw

Bitcoin in college is not a big factor, because already several articles came describing the information that bitcoin being taught in economics lecture and few institutions have created new courses offering bitcoin technology and management related studies.

Agreeing to the fact that the crypto world is penetrating the market aggressively. Well I guess the fact that economics professors now are trying to give an basic information regarding bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Though it is really a great idea to add bitcoin into the college curriculum. Not only that it will benefit those students who takes up Economics and/or Global Investments due to the reason that Bitcoin could give them an Insight on how they can penetrate the crypto world with or without investment. Though if this happens, most likely government will interfere and for sure impose certain law in regards it.

With the growing interest in Bitcoin and the Crypto world, there has been a discussion that relates to the possibility of implementing a new course to the curriculum that would teach the growing student about Bitcoin. This would be a good idea, but I doubt the government will be making changes to our learning curriculum anytime soon.

I think for this to be implemented, it would have to be a course in uni, since it would be too complicated for eco students in high school.

Doing this would really help our crypto world and attract heaps of media attention.

I would expect to see these topics covered first in online courses and MOOCs like Coursera programs. But it shouldn't be long before they become mainstream in major universities.

Only if people know how bitcoin changes lives. If ever bitcoin will be discussed in the college or this will be included in the curriculum, it wouldn't be hard for the students to earn while they are studying. This will probably help increase the economic stability of every individual. And there will be no doubt about the future of the students once they graduated college. And the best part is that college will never be boring.

As im reading every reply / opinions you all shared for me. In many years from now it might be part of a subject but not as a whole. Maybe a portion of it "blockchain technology". I'm still optimistic about it that it would help more students. In a country like ours, with low employment rate and high population. A few dollars a day is enough to make a life.

It is still early days and the legislation has not even defined Bitcoin clearly yet in most countries. I have seen some online courses for Blockchain technology, but I cannot give you any feedback on that, because I have not tried it yet. Your best bet for now would be to buy some books on the subject and also to research the subject online by yourself. I bought some very good books about Bitcoin and I have learned a lot from that. ^smile^

In my country, there are no specific rules that teach about what is BTC? But some people from the official web exchangers in my country have been teaching Bitcoin through seminars around town every few months. The seminar is usually open to the public, but the participants are limited.

Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.

In future if bitcoin becomes a subject of discussion or part of curriculum in schools or colleges it wouldn't be just because of its economical aspect, but majorly because of the technology behind it, blockchain technology.

Today there are some universities offering blockchain technology related courses and there are many online options too.

There is BEN (Blockchain Education Network), formerly CCN (College Cryptocurrency Network) which provides high school students and undergraduates with Bitcoin/blockchain related educational materials, organizing cross-campus events, helping starting Bitcoin/Blockchain Clubs.

I don't think bitcoin will be a subject in school, it is not possible to insert bitcoin in college, it is just my opinion, even in marketing, or even in your course. If you will already know how to earn money using bitcoin then how will student get interest in other subjects? It is depend on a College Student if they will going to ignore their subject because they are not interested or maybe they are just lazy. I don't think that it will be a good idea. We can have bitcoin even if we're not going to insert this kind of subject as long as we know how to earn I guess it's enough.

While it would be a better use of time in universities to have students in computer science or other courses covering similar subject manner to study things like Bitcoin and the technology instead of "Women's Studies" or backassward "social sciences", I can't see universities teaching something like this. They're not really places of higher learning anymore, just paper factories that give you a degree in exchange for $x and 4+ years of your life, with some conditions. While it would be great to see happen, I doubt it will.

Over here the same thing although we use another educational system as our college could be interpreted to be high school but either way, its not even been taught at all even the lecturers are old whose exposure to recent technological advancement is not as solid to command bitcoin as a course or topic to study. At the higher institution level, I doubt if there is any because as at the time I graduate, I didn't even hear anything relating to that at all.

It may be popular, it is quite practical, however, in my country, that certainly does not happen, even very few people know bitcoin. People here do not love technology, they are just farmers, and they only work in the field, not on the computer.
