I was going to ask you to post your VAT number, but as I read trough page 1-8 it seems we don't need it anymore.

Lol.  You're late to the party.  Grab a drink and catch up.

P.S. Congrats on Unicornhasher making the front cover of Bloomberg Businessweek! Good to see legitimate bitcoin asic business getting proper recognition Smiley

Too late mofo's, I just bought 500! It didn't ask me for my bitcoin address, so I guess Rebecca will just have to guess the payment is coming from me:

Hey! Why do the stock levels say there are 513 left, after I bought 500??  Angry

(And yes, the bitcoin address is different to the one earlier. Seems legit?)

 Grin

P.S. When I placed my order earlier, it also said the order number was #CTS-95  Shocked Grin

Come on! If you are going to create fictional people and pay for https services, you could at least increment your fake order count  Grin

So its safe to say that at least 400 people just got ripped off, and some scammer just made about a million bucks.

<-- Thinks to himself, Man, i cant beat them, maybe its time i launch my newest Asic product, the 15nm "twit" miner. a week on a website design, and $5 to some shmuck from india to write a press release and i become even more bitcoin rich. Hell maybe i can take a picture of a powered subwoofer with a sticker with the company name on it like bitco miners, and i wont have to deal with everyone calling my scam a scam.

Yep thats the plan, stay tuned for the most state of the art 15nm asic 20 TH/s "twit" miner. will have it up in a week. Oh, and i have decided to become a re-seller for the unicorn miner too. so be sure and get in on your pre-order. hahahahahha

This thread is a train wreck.  Despite that, it appears there are 513 and 735 pre-orders still available for the units, and those numbers are going down.  The press release did its job.

936 pre-orders available before two hours, now 519 pre-orders available??!?!  Huh Huh Huh

5K BTC in two hour?!
So the pricing has gone from dollars to BTC now.

I went through the order process and got to the "payment" page. No surprises, it was a bitcoin address and QR code:
1ExR6LX75g1bTnZGS6x8Y9DmaF3JhBVCRs

You sure need "256 Bit SSL Encrypted Connection on Checkout" for a QR code  Cheesy

My IP was instantly banned, obviously Rebecca doesn't take any shit:
You Are Banned for spam ordering.

I was still on the payment page! Obviously Rebecca likes to track pending orders - in real time - to make sure they are legit  Grin

Look at the home page

Then look at this:

Huh.  That does increase my skepticism a bit.

That chip they show on facebook is a TRADEMARKED CHIP from another company called "Handshake Solutions", and it is NOT a mining chip.  So yes, they illegally used that trademark (not copyright, i'm a lawyer), and yes, that is illegal in Britain and everywhere else.

NOTE THAT "REBECCA", AKA VINNY, HAS NOT ANSWERED THE SIMPLE QUESTION THAT COULD SORT THIS ALL OUT:  WHO IS YOUR "WORLD FAMOUS" PARENT COMPANY?Huh

I was looking for this photo elsewhere and found these:

I guess they must be all scam.

The microsoft story is talking about the very chip in the picture.  So there's nothing wrong or illegal about that. Similarly, two of others are stories about the ARM processor, so showing a picture of it it perfectly legal, and I assume authorized by the the chip manufacturer.

The fourth is a minor copyright violation (not trademark, because they are not representing it as a different product) by a university on its electrical engineering degree page.  It's quite conceivable that they paid a small fee to use that picture, or just used it without permission knowing the worst case scenario is a cease and desist letter. By all means, send "Rebecca" all your bitcoins.

And guys, the "Number Left In Stock" thing on their website is fake too.  They are surely making it go down to look like they are selling their imaginary machines.  Trust me, they will always have some "in stock" for any sucker willing to pay up.

please do.

+1 It would be great if you could do it before they sell out ;-) it seems they are selling fast... Of course this could be just incentive booster.

1 hour drive from where I currently reside.
If that turns out not to be a scam, which I highly doubt I will go and check myself.

And BTW, the photo they showed was of a TRADEMARKED product.  There is no legal way to use a trademark to advertise a different product.  The entire purpose of trademark is to avoid consumer confusion.  Using a trademarked product as a "stand in" for a different product is the definition of a trademark violation.   I.e. you can't "sell" or "lend" your trademark like you can your copyright (which is to protect a creative work of some type from commercial copying) for a different product.  Handshake Solutions would NEVER have consented to this fraudulent use of their trademark, EVER.

This company STOLE IT.
