OK, calm down children.

As a respected member of the press, here's what I expect to see.. as this announcement (if true) is actually groundbreaking for the UK...

1) A Press Association press release (as opposed to a PR paper provided by an online company who will send out an online form which has been filled in by a online marketing kid) with a press-day-invite, a photocall of senior member with the first unit produced, and a factory tour for my journalist colleagues.

2) A sample unit (kept in-house) running and showing a stable hashrate.

I do nothing with any press release or new story, unless I see it from her majesties Press Association.
A PA release will ensure that EVERY UK national newspaper has the opportunity to take note of this new venture.
I wish you luck, but in the immortal words of the dragons, I'm Out.

Hi - We plan to visit soon Rebecca. One of our writers will be in touch.

No offence intended here yet.   I don't think the forum members would care much if a new member did a visit and write up on a new company.

Please send me any questions you want asked, pictures you want taken.

Rebecca

I am 200 miles away in Leeds. I will drive down to see you with a camera tomorrow or Monday and take photos for the forum if you are legit.

Sounds fishy though.

Questions:

Steve Hodgeson -- you say he has experience at renowned semiconductor manufacturers -- where? how long? what role?

Who is you parent company?

Point me to any linkedin / personal profiles of your core team

Where is your 20nm foundry and who is building them?

Please ask Michael to create a profile on this forum, I and I'm sure many others would like to ask him some technical questions about your chips

You have prototypes. Why no photos?

2 members of your team is working full time on a wordpress website?
They don't seem to be very productive.
What are they doing with the rest of the time, scratching their balls in front of you?
You do know this forum is full of computer geeks which have their own set of skills?
You do know a Fab with wafersteppers to build a 20 nm ASIC is very expensive, that's while so many design company are fabless.
BTW which brand wafersteppers is your team using?

Canon
Nikon
Ultratech
or maybe ASML.
You better pick the right one.
As an investor in one of those companies, I do know how those shit works and I know who can't deliver stuff below 65 nm.

The first poster after the "press release" is part of the scam too, I'm guessing.

He's a noob who just HAPPENS to live right down the street from the supposed fab facility.

We can look forward to his next post, when he'll report that he visited their super secret factory and saw all the chip geniuses building prototypes or something.

These guys thought they were going to make like $5 million on this scam.  Let's see if we can keep that close to zero.

Who you calling a noob you 4 post having idiot.

Learn your place before you start accusing people of sh!t. I have been a member of this forum for almost a year. Just by coincidence I do happen to live just down the road from their "facility" and yes I was the first to reply. Wow.

Sometimes I wonder why I even visit these forums its like visiting the land of the trolls.

Rebecca, don't worry you are not the first definitely not the last company to come under the rigorous scrutiny of this great forum. Don't take it personally, as you are probably aware there have been MANY scams run through these forums, which has got a lot of peoples backs up. As you have read some aspects of your business have thrown up some red flags but hopefully, if you are who you say you are we can get these all ironed out.  I am really hoping you guys are legit as I am eager to do business  Wink

Dont think she will ever be coming back, but we could set up an auto dial program to call that phone number non stop 24/7 to keep them so busy with answering the phone they dont have time to scam anyone. We could also flood their e-mail inbox with so much spam they cannot find a single customer inquiry to reply to trying to convince them to blow their money.

We are a very resourceful forum, and i personally think its time we start fighting back. Anyone have any ideas on how we can monkey wrench this operation to the point they just give up? Legal or otherwise, i am all for it. what they are doing is not legal so why should i be.

Hi Rebecca

Nice to see a(n alleged) female posting an announcement for new ASIC hardware. I should warn you that even though you (may) have a vagina, the forum members will prefer to fuck you up the arse regardless for trying to scam them.

Cheers.

I just checked their first blog post. Rebecca claims in her blog post that:

"I personally would like to give the in house web development team, who spent countless hours building and testing, perfecting the website. It truly is a fantastic platform to showcase our products."

Haha. An in-house development team who uses WordPress and don't know what a .htaccess file is nor how to use one!  Grin Grin Grin Grin  http://www.ctsminer.com/wp-content/uploads/ have a peruse!

What the fuck is this complete bullshit.

Jesus, girl, you could have picked a bigger dick than 5TH/s to scam customers with?
But even at 5TH/s it's clearly a complete load of crap.

But worse,  and this is the bit that pisses me off the most about this SCAM - they've used the name of cgminer on their fucking website.
Bitch - be gone.

most probably the same mob...

queensland has always been a state where scam artists originate from, even before the internet days.  btw, I'm Australian.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.3459817

Payonix, just a couple of km away..

I think this post summed it up nicely..

Hi critta,

Sorry to hear that you have been scammed by Payonix.  We believe they are operating an arbitrage-type scam where they take your money, invest it in bitcoin, wait for bitcoin price rise, sell the bitcoin for profit, then return your original money.  It works even better if the victim paid them in bitcoin.  Your money gets tied up for a few weeks, but you get it back in the end (hopefully).  In the meantime you have suffered opportunity loss (you lost the use of your money during that time), and they have profited using your money.
