to my knowledge Etereum follow the price of Bitcoin if I think Ethereum can not be separated from the influence of Bitcoin because Ethereum like silver and Bitcoin like gold.

Till now bitcoin price effect to all coins. Yeah all coins depends all btc price. BTC price is connected to outside issue. When there are FUDs from countries, influencers , BTC price will respons negative or positive quickly. Even ethereum will get effect from BTC price. Till now no coins that can stand alone to face BTC. How strongly Altcoin value relate to bitcoin price. Can we know the condition of ETH/BTC ratio by analyzing BTC/USD value ?
Of course bitcoin can affect all existing altcoin markets for now, because Bitcoin is the king of all current Coin, so I think it's all very influenced by Bitcoin, but for a while it's low then we can buy it so we can recover the price of alcoin later, We buy altcoin which at a very low price and then just save it to gain greater profits.

yes of course. its a big effect to all altcoin. any happened in bitcoin it will reflect to all altcoin. we all know that bitcoin is the first created cryptocurrency so that altcoin will be followed to a bitcoin. if the bitcoin goes down the other altcoin will goes down too if bitcoin increase all altcoin will increase too. specially to a ethereum because ethereum is a second large cryptocurrency and ethereum is next to a bitcoin so whatever happened to bitcoin it will effect to all altcoin.

Bitcoin has a big effect on the prices of all altcoins, because always all altcoins following the direction of bitcoin. While this should not happen, there are mostly altcoins have real projects behind them, and the price of each altcoins should be depends on the quality and function of the project. But so far bitcoin is the main decision factor of whole crypto currencies.

Bitcoin occupy about a half of cryptomarket so I don’t think that it has sense to talk about influence any particular alternative cryptocurrency on the whole market and Bitcoin. That influence is not so important.
Bitcoin price effect on Altcoin actually because Bitcoin and Ethereum mostly have become the base cryptocurrency for trading other coins and tokens. So,when ever the prices of these base cryptocurrencies are down they drag down the other Cryptos.
BTC has the ability to control the electronic currency showcase. All Altcoin are influenced by the cost of Bitcoin and the Altcoin esteem is relative to the Bitcoin cost. Bitcoin is lord in the electronic currency showcase. There is no Altcoin that is autonomous of the estimation of Bitcoin.
absolutely effect, let see when the btc down, altcoin down more badly, ( I don't talk about some specific situation or coin )
My own portfolio tells it all. It is like every time bitcoin is down, everything goes to hell. A bloodbath which can never be stopped. Even with investors coming in, I dont really know why it is still happening.
The same with Ethereum. Balances converted to USD is down and looks like it will keep on going on.
Although I still feel this will calm down. Once a mark which is okay for most buyers to go in then it will be another pump.
They might just be playing with the price to make a lot more.

The price of our coins directly depends on the price of bitcoin, especially if the coin has just come out, and when it has been on the market for a long time, the price can not change radically, but it will fall 100%!
As what I've observed bitcoin's price really affects the altcoins price because everytime I watched the prices of coins in market cap I've observed that when bitcoin's price is red mostly of the alternative coins are also red, and if bitcoin's price is green most of altcoins are also green, don't know really just my observation.
