I have no doubt that bitcoin and ethereum will remain for long as the two most dominant cryptos on the market, because although many altcoins with characteristics theoretically superior to these two have been continuously emerging, they do not seem to be convincing investors of its apparent advantages, and it is evident that in a market as volatile and unstable as this, investors seem to have found a safe haven in bitcoin and ethereum.

It might be of course. On the other hand, strong tightening of development can lead to an outflow of Ethereum investors into competing of many projects that can launch almost the same technologies much earlier.
this is an eternal comparison. It's like comparing Mercedes and BMW - both are good, but it's for different purposes. One for speed, one for comfort. Just bitcoin and ethereum

Bitcoin vs ETh both are most profitable investing coins that you can earn a good profit. ETH is a public blockchain network than Bitcoin is a cryptourrency and world wide payment system.In my view both can have good future to follow and invest in it.
I think its not right to compare both of them because they have different projects from each other and these two are best coins here. So why we need to choose one of them ? I support both of them and both of them are in my porfolio.
Both are very good and have the chance to be the coins of the future, I will choose both and the portion share is bigger ETH because I like to join ICO which mostly use ETH. 
I think that we will be able to observe the strong manipulation of the valuable Bitcoin, this whole year will see low values.

Bitcoin is known as the chief of crypto technology. For me both are powerful coins. Marketcaps are high and confident. Ethereum is a strong coin and the price is reasonable. Good investments for the future.
BTC is like a gold in the crypto world.
It is inconvenient, heavy but very stable for now(concerning other cryptocurrencies).

Now Bitcoin is much better than Ethereum, but Bitcoin can not offer such a variety. Therefore, in due course Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on demand and popularity, and then on capitalization.
The Bitcoin vs Eth saga. Both have different set goals, but I'd go for Ethereum giving it numerous features but that would also be an unequal comparison.
I think BITCOIN will be the top 1 of this year 2018, because it will reach its pick and blast up to the moon!! Then ethereum coin predection in 2020 will be the next bitcoin!! Thats my thoughts!!
I think I can not afford the btc. The level they are now away if you look at their volume and roadmap will see the huge difference in the quality of the same coins.

if what you are asking is price I will still say that bitcoin is winning although ethereum actually has excellent potential because ethereum is needed by many people as transaction cost but because its supply is unlimited so the price can not be so high different from the bitcoin that its supply very limited
I prefer bitcoin. Bitcoin is still the number one coin this year. Ethereum is developing from now. Ethereum are growing faster but that's not the point that it can surpass bitcoin.
I do not understand people who open the competition between bitcoin and Ethereum. What's the point?? ))) Coins on the bottom and not about any competition cannot be and speeches.
