If you want to have a stable potential investment ethereum would better because its stability is a lot better than bitcoin's price,ethereum is being backuped by its good platform which offers smartcontracts and d-app or decentralized applications which bitcoin doesnt have,that is why between the two the safest investment would be ethereum.

I recoomend with you both but today is slowly uprise the price of bitcoin but in my own analysis ithin bitcoin goes inth e moon again, ethereum also have an reputation in the as number altcoins there have possibility to bcome hugable their into the market, i suggest with 50/50 investment 50% to bitcoin 50% to ethereum for long term investment.

yes why not, these two coins are now idol investors for investation. bought both of these coins this year i think good idea and so hold until to 2019. altcoin market prices are now beginning to turn green again same with bitcoin and ethreum.
Bitcoin is the blockchain 1.0 with a lot of audience already, the Ethereum is the blockchain 2.0 with some advantages compared to the bitcoin. Both of them are good, still developing. Hard to say which is better.

In my opinion, you do not need to choose from the two cryptocurrency because it is both good coins to invest in. If I were you, instead of choosing between the two, I will just devide my investment to both crypto. Bitcoin is the pioneer in cryptocurrency world so it already established its name and reputation. On the other hand, ethereum concept is also wonderful and the good thing about this is it has a much lesser transaction fee compared to bitcoin. I believe in the ETH. This year, it should develop well, because projects from the past will begin their work. But for a good investment you need both coins.
If the Bitmain and PoS rumours are true then Ethereum will probably be the highest profitability CC out the top 10 big dogs this year.
In my opinion I prefer ethereum because of the investors and supporters like ICO's project.
I prefer Ethereum nowadays ethereum blockchain has many supporters who support them.
It is better to invest in ethereum than bitcoin yes bitcoin is the mother of all cryptocurrency but in terms of technology ethereum has more function and much upgrade than bitcoin as you can see ethereum has many token under their ERC20 and when ethereum became more popular it will have a good value that you never be expected to have.
