SRH has let me down once again. I miss the old Warner who usually played big shots all the time and helped his team post big scores consistently. Currently, Warner probably is playing more cautiously since many of the SRH batsmen are not dependable.
What the heck was the team management thinking sending Samad instead of Williamson in the super-over. Also, just like teosanru, I was disappointed with Warner's shot selection towards the end.

It was quite surprising to see that Morgan was pretty much stuck with Injured Russel while he could barely bowl. KKR were just too lucky today to have win this match. But I think this team combination for them is much better. They should continue with this only. What was more surprising was 3rd super over in this IPL. I am surprised that tie is becoming such a common result in cricket. In 32 matches it's the 3rd super over. I was pretty surprised with shot choice of Warner when you need to 2 runs of last ball. But Ferguson was the key player who got them this match.

I was surprised when SRH won the toss and chose to field first. But now it looks as if David Warner made the right decision. The KKR bowlers did their job relatively well. And this time apart from Rashid Khan, the other bowlers also did their job in a satisfactory manner. Sandeep Sharma and surprisingly Vijay Shankar bowled very tidily. Natrajan was expensive, but he got the crucial wickets.

He was probably unaware that Dwayne Bravo was not fit enough to bowl. I would say that the criticism was unfair. Bravo couldn't bowl and Dhoni was left with two options - Jadeja or Karn Sharma (Watson hasn't bowled in ages, so I don't think that he had a third choice). He probably went for Jadeja, since Sharma is very inexperienced. But then, left-arm spin against left-handed batsmen is not a good idea.
I think these things are things that made MSD the greatest captain. Obviously Bravo was injured otherwise he would have been the obvious choice but when it comes to choice between Jadeja and Karn Sharma. I won't blame Dhoni for this. Because if CSK would have won this match people would have said that what an out of the box captain Dhoni is. So doing out of the box things does carry these risks. You won't win 100% of times. Giving the ball to Joginder Sharma was also the biggest risk he took in t20 2007 and when he got successful people made Dhoni their hero, no one questioned an out of the box decision at that time. But now the match has turned into CSK favor. Delhi is still struggling to maintain the required run rate. I don't get one point. In Sharjah, it's supposed to be high scoring match but in last few matches, the score isn't that high. What has got changed?.. The pitch has become slower and if you are not waiting for the ball in the back foot it is difficult to score runs. Unadkat bowling the 19th over made all the difference for AB de Villiers and RCB, Archer should have bowled that over and put the pressure on the last over.
ABD was in blitz mode and I doubt any bowler would have been able to stop him. I felt so happy seeing him hit those sixes with ease. It's like he never retired. Was an entertaining match through and through.
A never expected win for DC as Ravindra Jadeja call for trouble on his own by sinking the worth of his innings he played during his batting when we were thinking that CSK might not even see the total score of 160, but his innings of 33 including back-to-back 2 sixes of the last over changed the total to an exceptional 179. Dhoni kept trust in him and didn't give any other bowler a chance to go for the last over and Jadeja made it a nice victory for DC by bowling like a noob and even a batsman like Axar Patel shot 3 sixes in the last over. A won victory lost by CSK.

RCB was comfortably chasing the target of 178, with Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli at the crease. Tewatia got both of them dismissed in consecutive deliveries. Padikkal was dismissed of Tewatia's bowling, while he took a brilliant catch to dismiss Kohli. All of a sudden, we have RCB struggling at 103/3 from 103/1.
Rahul Tewatia is a real match winner with the bat and ball and i have not heard about him before this IPL, the bowling changes made by Rajasthan Royalswas not the best, i missed watching the match live but i finished watching the highlights because Chennai Super Kings match is boring as there is not much going on in the match

^^ Judging by scorecard it seems RR once again failed to finish game or it was just pure master class from the AB de Villiers. Gotta feel for poor Unadkat, this guy can't even catch a break. Overall RR did good shuffling with their batting order, Uthappa clicked as opener and Smith did good as well by moving down are good sign, hope its not too late for them.

Excellent move indeed. I expected KKR to play badly against MI since they have been a bit lucky with their recent wins and luck always tends to run out. Also, Smith stepping down could help RR since he could focus primarily on his batting.Edit

Morgan is successful captain in the limited overs cricket, IMO the best in the business so KKR management and Karthik did good, now he can focus on his batting may be finisher job as Rusell is looking different cricketer in this season.
I got only one point. Useless Suryakumar Yadav got out, else I would have got 2 points. Anyway, something is better than nothing. I think the last time I got a margin point was almost two weeks ago. Today we were very close to a thrashing win, and still it somehow didn't happened. Tomorrow we have an interesting match between two unpredictable teams - RR and RCB. All the best everyone!
I thought it was a thrashing win myself to be honest. Happy with the 1 point though. Tomorrow's match is a bit unpredictable. I bet on RCB because their improvement over time seems to give them the edge over RR though RR themselves are playing well too. I hope Kohli doesn't make any silly captaincy errors this time around.
Coming to the DC vs CSK match, I bet on DC because they are in far better form when compared to CSK who are scrapping by just like SRH.

This is not threashing win its easy win and five members going with 2 points first time looking Timon leading the table from front hopefully he will keep this place for this round as I was also going with two options easy and comfortable but at the end I have comfortable but its easy so good congrates to all winners.
