I doubt any of those things are the case, as some videos have thousands of views. Maybe Cyrus is just too busy for this side hustle.

People definitely seem overwhelmingly interested in more episodes. Seems like if fun was being had in the production of the show, there's a chance to bring it back.

Does it have to be that way? There was a lot of discussion before the channel was launched, and I'm pretty sure there are some pretty talented people who'd be willing to be part of the production of future videos, even if it were for little or no money.

Also, for a one-man show Cyrus did a hell of a job on the videos that got put up on Youtube so far. I would have thought there was a team of at least a couple of people in the making of them based on the production quality of so many other vids I've seen by other YT creators.

I can't remember if this was ever discussed, but were forum funds used to finance those videos? If not, could they be? Maybe Cyrus could hire himself an assistant or two. I was disappointed when everything just came to a screeching halt after it looked as though things were coming along nicely--and I'm still hoping the channel gets resurrected someday.

The /u/BitcoinTalkShow was last seen active 1 month ago on this Reddit thread[1], so there's some hope that there's still something going on with anything related to the YT channel (even if it's just a post with no relation to with). This year I didn't take part in this community as much as I would like to but this initiative still thrives in my mind. Regarding this year Bitcointalk Community Awards, this is just an idea, but the announcement of this years winners could even be made first on the YT channel and then posted (after it ended) on the usual thread. I do reckon that the "video logistics" may not be as feasible concerning the timing of the dates, but as sure as hell it would be an awesome way to end the year!

Now that's just downright mean. If I were the sort of person who cared about tut-tutting others about their treatment of others I might have called you out on that stronger than I did--fortunately for all of us I'm an extremely narrow-sighted person who can barely peep past my own needs, so you go on and wish everything to be shat upon by birds.

All kidding aside, I'm glad this thread got bumped, because I was hoping someone would once again spark up some discussion on the state of the channel. From the very start I was wishing it nothing but success, and it certainly did look like it had some momentum behind it (or at least creators who cared about what they were making).

Here's to the channel hopefully not being dead. But if it is, perhaps we can make a limited edition silver coin commemorating such a short-lived nugget of gold.

I miss the excitement of the release of the first episodes, but now, I see the situation pretty stagnant on the Youtube channel in terms of vies and subscriptions.
